Chrome415 Work Boot - Men's
Item # CRM0064
Shoes that are ready to work.
As Chrome puts it, work has changed but everyone is still wearing work boots. However, not everyone has the time to break-in true work boots, and even less people would want to ride in them. That's why Chrome created the 415 Work Boots. They combine the hardworking durability that's required for daily riding with the laid-back San Francisco styling of its "415" namesake.
Chrome's 415 Work Boots are made from an almost identical fabric to what's used in its messenger bags — 1000 denier Cordura. As you probably know, this stuff is strong — like we've had the same Chrome bag for nine years strong. And aside from the upper material selection, Chrome made the whole shoe resilient to the day-to-day thrashings of urban riding and, well, life. The sole is made from ultra-durable vulcanized rubber, and its also been made skid-resistant for riding/walking in all weather conditions. For the construction, Chrome used a board lasted sole to stiffen up the shoes and to eliminate the threat of hot spots.
Outside of the 415's commuter advantages, Chrome made them to be the ultimate freestyle/lifestyle shoe. The 415's moderate profile makes it easy to get in and out of either toe straps or cages. So, you don't have to go down with the ship when the ship is sinking.
Finishing off the shoes are steel aglets that keep the laces from fraying, a padded collar at the ankle, and reflective rear loops that increases your visibility to motorists in low-light conditions.
The Chrome 415 Work Boots are available in odd and even sizes from 5.0 through 13.0 and in the colors Black and Sand.

Good 3 season shoe
- Familiarity:
- I've put it through the wringer
These shoes are comfortable and good looking. Not much warmth if worn in winter. Only had them 1.5 months so far so difficult to say how durable they are.

I bought these to replace some blown out cheap shoes that where my go to's . I typically by the same thing once the old ones go but i decided to mix up the routine and go for these. I normally wear basic skate shoes and these are totally different then something like Van's, Adidas, or whatever you like best. - The thick Cordura Upper is super durable so when im digging through parts cars at the junk yard i don't haft to worry about sharp metal edges or glass from turning my shoes into sandals, but its not as flexible as thinner canvas and will eventually get hot. - Tasteful details like the red chrome logo on the back 1/4 of the shoe and the work boot style laces adds a touch of style to the basic design so ithey do go with everything. - By far the standout for me is the half cab upper, its not too short but not to tall so my ankles can move comfortably but I have that protection and coverage I need during the colder months. Review Update: After using these for almost a year now they still look great, they have totally broken in and are way more comfortable then most of my other shoes. I have had my eye on the all black version of these shoes as well as the leather work boot version. 2ed update: I bought the all black pair as a backup, almost broke down and bought the ranger color too but i already have too many shoes.

Very durable and have taken a real beating over the last six months. Perfect commuter shoe with a strong vulcanized rubber sole. Comfortable and fairly weather resistant. True to size, but run narrow.
