Spendy but worth it for my needs

I have SRAM RED22 eTap, 2016, which is the short cage, max 28 tooth on the cassette. With 20,000km on it I needed to replace the pulley wheels which was going to be $120 and since moving to the Northwest I rarely have a ride with less than 1,000 meters of climbing and often have 14-18% grades to deal with so I wanted the ability to got to an 11-30 or 11-32 cassette. One option was to purchase a new WiFLi mid cage eTap rear derailleur, not a cheap option either. So all in going to the Ceramicspeed OPWS ends up being a somewhat less expensive though still pricey alternative. Installing the OPWS on the RED22 eTap rear derailleur replacing the stock short cage is pretty easy. Watch the video and if you are reasonably good with tools this is a 30 minute job the first time, I could probably do it in 15 minutes the second time around. I run a 50/34 chainwheel set up and with an 11-30 cassette the chain length ended up being full length on a SRAM RED22 chain minus just two links. Make some minor adjustments and out the door.
