The Strada you know, with cadence and heart rate.
With the new Strada Digital Wireless Computer, you receive CatEye's proven wireless system along with both wireless cadence readings and an included heart rate monitor sensor.
CatEye designed the Strada Digital with its ease-of-use at the forefront of design. Accordingly, its ClickTec design provides a simple-to-use, single button operation system. So, you can easily navigate through metrics like current speed, trip distance, elapsed time, average speed, maximum speed, heart rate, and cadence.
The wireless cadence readings are made possible by CatEye's ISCTec sensor. It mounts to the chainstay of your frame and is responsible for both speed and cadence readings. And as a technology update to problems that we've experience from CatEye in the past, the Strada's wireless communications are now transmitted through 30 different ID codes. This way, there's no confusion or intermixing of your readings while you're riding in the peloton, or on secondary bikes.
CatEye didn't neglect the importance of a heart rate monitor with the new Strada. With the included Cateye detachable-fabric HR chest strap you can maximize your training and racing by learning your sustainable output within your heart rate zones. And to support this training method, the Strada is capable of computing readings ranging from 0 to 199 bpm. Now, you have the metrics to tell you if jumping off of the front is possible on a sustained climb.
Another couple of key features are the Strada's minimal size and weight. The CPU measures out to 46.5 x 31 x 16mm, and it only weighs around 20 grams. Additionally, the CPU setup is a simple affair, as is its mounting setup. In fact, CatEye includes its tool-free FlexTight bracket that mounts to either your stem or bars.
The CatEye Strada Digital Cadence Wireless Computer is available in the color Black and in one size. Each computer includes a CR2032 battery, FlexTight mounting bracket, heart rate sensor, and an ISCTec sensor.
