Rapid 3 Front Light

Headlights serve multiple functions, from increasing your vision to raising awareness of your presence, and the CatEye Rapid 3 Front Light manages to do just that. With three different modes, the Rapid 3 Front Light can provide you with the spotlight you need to maneuver through the dark with its steady stream of constant, white LED to help you spot potholes, or the two different flashing modes that keep you bright and seen, even in daylight conditions, so motorists can stay aware of your presence on the road.

At the center of the light, between two standard LEDs, is an extra-powerful SMD-LED that adds an extra flash of bright, penetrating light to the rig, making it brighter than the Omni 3, which shares the same number of LED's. On either side of the SMD-LED are two 5mm LEDs that boost the light, so you still achieve exceptional peripheral vision on the ride.

The Rapid 3 Front Light is simple to mount, as it comes equipped with CatEyes FlexTight bracket to cinch down, tool free, to your handlebar for a secure fit. It is also compatible with the CatEye Clip, should you want to adapt it to clip neatly to your messenger bag or jersey when you carry on with your way. The light skips past the world of rechargeable batteries, which require near constant loading, and can leave you in the dark if you forget to bring a charger with you, and instead opts for a single AA battery, easy to replace at any drug store, and with lasting power of 6 hours in Constant mode, all the way up to 80 in Flash, so you can count on having light in the long run.
