Stay safe out there.
You love your bike commute to work each morning and back home each evening, but in the winter when the days are short, or even in the summer when you're working long hours, you need light. That's why CatEye offers its Omni 3 Light at a low price so you don't have to sacrifice safety for your bank account. And its inexpensive price tag doesn't mean CatEye made some scrappy light either. On the contrary, three white LED lights provide 360° visibility that makes sure oncoming traffic sees you, and three different modes (constant, flashing, and rapid) let you decide how flashy you want to be. This light comes with two AAA alkaline batteries that can power it for up to 200 hours. And both the FlexTight bracket and a clothing clip let you attach this light anywhere you'd like.

Haven't gotten hit yet
- Familiarity: I've used it several times
Well, I haven't been hit by a car while using this, so I guess it does what I need it to do. Other than that it was easy to attach to my bike, is visible from a pretty good distance, and the batteries last quite a while in it. For $10, it was absolutely worth the price.
How bright is this light? How many lumens? I want a bright flashing light so that cars downtown can see me quickly. I don't need it to light my way, but I want it to be pretty eye-catching bright. Thx.
