Velocissima 2 Short - Women's

Castelli’s latest version of the Velocissima short updates both the interior and exterior to make them more comfortable than ever. Designed for training both indoors and on the road, the Velocissima 2 Short is crafted from Castelli’s Endurance Evolution fabric to provide compressive support and effective moisture management. Staying dry is a nice benefit on a long ride, but the shorts' real strength is the compression, which helps reduce muscle fatigue to keep legs fresh beyond the second or third hour of a ride.

New for the second version, the shorts are finished with a raw-edge hem to prevent any pinching or constricting at the thigh. Vertical silicone strips along the interior of the hem keep the short in place, which we’ve come to greatly appreciate during summer group rides. The waist construction reduces seams to eliminate irritation when in the riding position. The Velocissima 2 uses an updated chamois, a women’s-specific KISS Air2, which is Castelli’s preferred long-distance insert. The shorts are finished with reflective elements to help keep you visible in low-light conditions.
