Description

Warm legs are strong legs.

Your legs are your engine, but you can't expect them to work their best if you leave them bare in the cold. Let Castelli's Thermoflex Leg Warmers stand between your gams and the crisp spring air around them, and you'll enjoy less likelihood of muscle tightness and discomfort when you're out on long rides. Soft Thermoflex fleece holds a layer of heat from your quads to your Achilles, and it remains breathable when you break a sweat on a tough climb, while a top gripper elastic keeps everything in-place.

  • Protect your engine on cold rides with this leg warmer
  • Plush fleece fabric wicks moisture while it insulates
  • Form-fitting cut and gripper elastic prevents slippage
  • Cross-wrap cuff at bottom for a comfortable fit

Love it.

  • Familiarity: I've used it several times

Ive always had a problem with leg warmers to tight or to loose. These ones fit like a glove. Very comfortable and warm.

Shapeless and Constricting

  • Familiarity: I've used it several times

I put them on again this morning, after not wearing them for 6 months of Spring and Summer. I never really liked the fit before, but today I yanked them off after 10 minutes. They don't fit well. They are just tapering tubes, with no shape. Although they have a band of silicone at the top, they seem to stay up only by virtue of constricting my leg. The top opening of a size L is only 16 inches. I'm not a big guy, 5' 10" and 162 pounds. The circumference of my thigh is just under 18" where the top of the Castelli leg warmer rides. They were uncomfortable last winter, and after riding a lot this summer, they are unwearable. I always wore Sugoi, but Sugoi started making their leg warmers an inch shorter, and they no longer fit well, so I kept these hoping to get used to them. I wish that I had sent them back when I got them.

Sorry to hear that Eric. I have been using these Castelli leg warmers for two years now. I ride in Utah and they are a must in the spring and fall. I think you should have bought mediums instead of large. I am your exact size and have not had the problems you are experiencing. All of my Castelli equipment has been the best stuff I have ever bought. Good luck on your next purchase.

Best leg warmers!

Obsessed with these. Really long and have nice grip strip on both the inside and the outside of the warmer to keep them from slipping. There is also a neoprene cuff on the bottom of the leg to keep your legs extra toasty. Have worn these twice so far (both in temps below 40 degres and snowing, spring in Salt lake city!! haha) and they held up great! Really loving how they stay put throughout the whole ride. Only complaint is that there is a MASSIVE tag on the inside of the right warmer. Like this thing is insanely huge. I cut it and now its a little itchy but not terrible. Other than that, solid warmers to keep you toasty warm on your chilly rides.

Sizing: I am 5'11'' 148lbs with pretty skinny legs. The small fits me well and they don't sag down.
