Castelli's T1:Stealth Jersey is designed to fly under the wind's radar. Everything about its design — from the low, abbreviated collar to the extended sleeves, side-entry pockets, and second-skin fit — is designed to save time when you're on the bike. Castelli claims that this jersey alone will save you up to three minutes on the bike leg. This is even more impressive when you realize that these three minutes come in comparison to Castelli's two-time Kona champion Free Tri Suit. Castelli's brand slogan is "an unfair advantage" — the T1:Stealth may embody this better than any other item the Italian manufacturer produces.
The jersey's body is made from Velocity fabric on the front and Velocity Mesh on the shoulders and back. Velocity uses Prosecco treatment that pulls moisture from the skin and diffuses it across the fabric's surface to lower the concentration of wetness and speed up evaporation, a welcome addition in T1. The Mesh iteration strives for maximum breathability to keep you cool during the final two legs of your event. Both materials are also comically stretchy, so it takes some doing to get into the T1:Stealth but, once you're there, the material lies flat against your skin, cheating the wind for the above mentioned gains between transitions.
The jersey's aerodynamic fit is guaranteed by an elastic insert at the waist, which keeps the silicone gripper tightly pressed against your body for an unflinching hold. The lightweight construction also comes with an unlooked-for — but very welcome — UPF of 16. If you've ever had the misfortune of burning your bib straps into your back courtesy of a too-thin jersey, then you'll understand the appeal of this feature.
- Velocity and Velocity Mesh lie flat for aerodynamic gains
- Prosecco treatment diffuses moisture across the jersey's surface for fast drying
- Full-length zipper to ensure optimal fit
- Side-entry pockets store energy food without an aerodynamic penalty

- How to Measure:
- For best results, take measurements over your underwear.
- Measure under your arms, around the fullest part of your chest.
- Measure around your natural waistline, keeping the tape a bit loose.
- Measure around the fullest part of your body at the top of your legs.
- Using pants that fit well, measure the crotch seam to the bottom of the leg.

The fit is odd.
- Fit: Runs small
- Size Bought: small
Purchased this for a smallish male friend. Loved the fabric and the look; however, the fit is just not right. The fit along the shoulders is tight and the hem rides up over the hip. But it is a cool looking top.
My Favorite Jersey
- Familiarity: I've put it through the wringer
- Fit: Runs small
- Size Bought: Medium
Not only is the quality top-notch and not only is this a perfect fit, but they've done something here that I don't think anyone else has done. They've made the pockets side-entry on the back. All my other jerseys have pockets that you've got to reach into from the top. I know that this is the way 99.9% of all jerseys are designed but having side entry pockets is really nice. The pockets are deep enough that everything stays in there, so that's not an issue but just reaching back and straight into the side of the pockets on either side while riding is a nice convenience that I really wish I had with all my other jerseys. I'm typically a small in everything and because Castelli tend to run small I got a medium. It does fit like a small in most other brands. I'm not sure if I could have fit into a small but I may order one and see. It would definitely be the most snug fitting jersey if I did. The medium fits like a race fit small in another brand anyhow so I'm very happy with it. This jersey is my new go to jersey for most rides now.
Where do they get the sizing from!!
- Familiarity: I returned this product before using it
- Fit: Runs small
- Size Bought: XL
I ordered an XL after reading reviews about Castelli's clothing tending to be on the small size. My chest is 39cm, so according to the sizing chart I should be a Large, so I went for the XL. When it arrived I was shocked at how small it appeared, It looked like a child sized jersey compared to all my other ones! I carefully put it on, and it was a tight fit especially under the arms and I'm not particularly muscular in that area! It was tight everywhere else and I'm a slim build, , but the tight fit under the arms persuaded me that it wasn't for me. Also, the rear pockets were something of a surprise, (even though it does mention side entry pockets in the product description) they are not easily accessible like traditional pockets, maybe to do with it's aero profiling, so again another reason for returning this product.
