Sizing ruins otherwise quality tights.

Picked these up about 6 weeks ago to help fight the cold spring weather. They work fine for temps 45-60 degrees. They are a little more breathable than I expected and don't block wind as much as I was hoping. Castelli has euro sizing but these aren't close to 38.5 inch waist they claim, I'd say these XXL would fit a 34 inch waist. Leg length feels 3 inches too short also. I've used multiple Castelli products so I know they usually run small, but these seem extra tiny.

Seem Nice - Too Small

They seem to be nice quality, but the XL just didn't fit me at all. Burned by the Castelli sizing again. I have a pair of summer bibs in XL that fit fine, but I could barely get these things on. I'm 6'1'', 180 lbs.

I just purchased a pair of tights and used for first time at 5Borrow bike ride. Plenty of padding in seat. Sizing runs small but I followed suggestions in reviews. I am a 34-35 waist/ 30 inseam and ordered a XL. The tights just fit. If you are in between sizes, order two sizes up. Construction was good and material was just right for temperature.

Bought these for another pair of winter riding clothes and love them! Keeps me warm on these cold and sometimes damp winter days of riding in NC. Bought an XL, may could have used the L but Castelli stuff runs small. Went with limited edition since there were marked down. Happy with my purchase!

These are very comfortable tights, and plenty warm down to about 35 degrees. They’re a very snug fit, more form fitting than other Castelli bib tights, but I still ordered my usual size large, and once on the bike they fit very well. I’m sure that they’ll relax a bit more after a few more rides. The shoulder straps are extremely comfortable, if a bit snug. The Progetto chamois is thicker than the Kiss Air pad in my other Castelli bibs, so I’m a bit less planted in the saddle, but the pad is comfortable. The multi-panel design is great, especially around the knees, and the zippered leg openings keep the tights very snug, and make getting them on and off a lot easier. The reflective fabric strips surrounding the zippers are a nice detail. Length is good for me, but I only have a 30” inseam. Castelli claims these will fit up to 32” inseam, but that seems optimistic to me. These were a “limited edition”, I guess because they’re dark navy instead of black. The color is fine with me, especially when it’s on sale for a third off the usual MSRP.
