Why We Like The Rosso Corsa Pro Glove

The Rosso Corsa Pro V Glove from Castelli is designed to take the sting out of the roughest rides with its CDS gel padding and silicone grip offering more comfort and control. Castelli also engineered the glove with crash protection at the palm that wraps around the side of the hand with a highly abrasion-resistant material. The back of the hand and the cuff employ a high-stretch material to reduce the amount of bulk and make the glove easier to put on and take off. Reflective piping on the back of the hand offers additional visibility to motorists in low light conditions. This glove is ideal for any cyclist who appreciates extra palm padding while tackling pockmarked pavement, gravel, or cyclocross.

Very Good Glove But Not Perfect

Familiarity:
I've used it several times

I have purchased Castelli product before so I knew to size up, and yes it can be difficult to take off a sweaty hand. I still like the glove very much because it provides great ventilation on the top of glove and sufficient (not too much) padding on the palm of the glove. It is the best combination of weight, breathability and cushioning that I have found.

It runs small

It indeed runs small so need to size up. I pretty like the glove, but I think it kinda takes a little bit time to break it. My first ride with it caused a little pain on my right purlicue, but that didn't happen after that.

Runs small. Hard to get on and off.

I returned this product before using it

I'm an XL in every glove I've ever worn and can barely get my hand in an XL. It's very snug ever around the finger and there's no pull tab of any kind to remove. I actually liked the padding, but these are going back.

Good quality, durable, could be better

Familiarity:
I've put it through the wringer

Have been using these 3-4 days a week for four months now. No loose stitching or split seams to report. They have handled numerous runs through the washing machine well. Size runs slightly small. Warm enough to the high 50s. Only complaints: padding not very good. On rides of 2-3 hours or more I often get pinch/rub in between the the thumb and index finger pads, causing irritation almost like a blister. Would not purchase again.

Nothing to write home about - kind of flimsy, afraid it I might tear it just putting it on. Got the L and about a size too small. Gonna stick with the trusty old Giros.
