Description

Nano Flex Pro Omloop Bib Short

As the ultimate short for rainy days, the Castelli Men's Nano Flex Pro Omloop Bib Short employs a nanotechnology water-repellent finish to repel rain drops, puddle splashes, and road spray from soaking through. Castelli's Nano Flex fabric features a brushed lining that adds essential insulation from cooler temperatures and rainy training rides.

Not only does it keep you dry as the skies open up and dump rain at biblical rates, but it traps extra warmth in cooler weather with its elongated cut. The raw-cut legs sit just above the knee along the front to repel oncoming weather, tapering to a shorter rear length for excellent mobility while you're pedaling. It's finished with Castelli's Progetto X² multi-density seat pad, which disperses vibrations from fatiguing your output and remains smooth against your underside to keep chafing at bay.

Great quality but straps are short

  • Familiarity: I returned this product before using it
  • Fit: Runs small
  • Size Bought: XXL

I ordered these to replace my old Castelli nanoflex bib shorts. I’m 6’5” and always wear XXL from Castelli. The straps on these bib shorts however are quite a bit shorter than those on my old bibs, so short that it was getting uncomfortable on my shoulders after just wearing them for a few minutes.
I do like how far down my legs these bibs go, all the way to the knees.
I ended up returning these.

Buy size up, short bib straps, long legs

  • Fit: Runs small
  • Size Bought: Lg

6,2 190 rite now 180 spring lol. Yah tried to fit in a pair of LG and way to short bib straps and a little tite as expected, waiting for my XL to come and I hope there at least 2" long straps. I have a 36" inseem and the large where long as expected but fit me great. My guess is unless your long leged and med to short torso thay will not be a great fit. Again buy size up.

Your grammar is really awful.

Full thigh coverage

  • Familiarity: I've used it several times
  • Fit: True to size
  • Size Bought: Large

I have logged a few rides and several commutes in these bibs as well as the omloop thermal version which is slightly different. The overall fit and finish is quality, which I have come to associate with Castelli in recent years where I feel their materials, design and construction have been solid. What I really like about these shorts is two things: 1) the extra length means they don't stop mid-thigh and 2) the 'raw cut' means no seam to bite into my thigh. I am 6'2" with a rouler build and medium volume thighs - not a match sprinter build but no mountain goat either. Most size L shorts feel too short in the inseam and end up biting into the thickest part of my thigh. The raw cut and extra length eliminates this. When first putting the shorts on I felt they may be too long - they seemed to overlap my knee a little more than ideal. However once in the saddle they settled in and the raw cut hit right above the knee. I think some riders may find these shorts too long but if you are like me and can't find shorts long enough in the leg these could be the ticket.
Also the omloop thermal I mentioned above is different in that it is more of a regular short with an extra bit of hem seen in. The nanoflex is one continuous leg with the raw cut edge/seam. I had a pair of the thermals but when I saw the nanoflex I chose them next and am glad I did.

Not sure how a 6,2" got in to a lg bib straps I found it way to short. Well glad thay fit you great pair of bibs with a chamois I love
