Pedal on with protection from the cold.
The Castelli Men's Lycra Knee Warmers give your legs some extra warmth with nearly no extra bulk. These sleek warmers stretch at your command, and rebound energetically. Castelli's logo lives on the calf, reminding Humvee-drivers why your legs are so much firmer than theirs.

Not too durable
- Familiarity: I've put it through the wringer
These are comfortable and work well down to 45 degrees for me. Although functional, there are a few downsides. First is the rubber in the slip band at the top is not woven in so it will start coming off after a few washes. Second is the logo starts to come apart because it is not printed or sewn on. They will look pretty worn pretty fast. Do not buy for high usage cycling.

Would these work for women? I'm 5'4". If so, would this work with shorts that have a 5" inseam?
You may have to pull them up to just under the knee to make it up to the Short
great design bad durability
I bought these 2 seasons ago and like in socal so its not like I use then that much.
I like the fit and they work well to stop the wind
They have fallen apart, the stritch up the rear of teh garment is torn on both sides. The just started falling apart. a shame I was like them
True to size and a good cover for your knees, especially up here as the year without a Summer continues. Bicycling magazine reminds us to keep that synovial fluid that lubricates the knee joint warm and these plain lycra warmers do just that.
One very small issue is that if the warmers are not positioned on the thigh correctly, they will ride up your lower leg a little.
