Fell apart after a few washes

They run a bit small, but the bigger issue is that the bibs seem to fall apart after 4 or 5 washes. Specifically, the chamois seems to just fall off.

Definitely size up!

As others have stated, these run small. How small? Well, small enough that even the XL gave me a hot spot in an exceptionally unpleasant place- something that has never happened to me before in 20+ years of cycling and numerous team kits and individual purchase bibs. It only happened once so maybe something was stuck to the chamois. I wish the straps were a bit longer, a little less tug on the crotch when not riding would be nice. It isn't noticeable on the bike and we all know not to sit around in sweaty shorts. I am 6' 2" and a lean 170-180 pounds, waist above hips is ~34" and hips ~38".

An indoor favorite, careful of sizing

Estimated use thus far: 125 indoor sessions lasting 30 to 45 minutes. Padding is appropriate, not too much, not too little. Quality is, as one would expect from this manufacturer, excellent. A bit thin. For me, this is desirable. I run hot, so anything to help me stay cool is a positive for me. I understand that these are meant to skin tight but as others have mentioned, and in my opinion, these run small. Given my size and weight I could not fit into a Large. I would describe it this way: if these were any smaller (or I was any larger) these would not fit. Would I buy them again? Yes.

Excellent product - careful with sizing

The 1st premium bib shorts I've owned. I forget how good they are (fit, feel, support, etc.) until I put another pair of bib shorts on. I've worn them for more than 1.5 hour long sessions on the trainer and they were far more comfortable than any of my other low end shorts. I'm now convinced you do get what you pay for in cycling shorts. Similar to other reviews elsewhere, they tend to run small. I ended up sizing up 2 sizes to XXL (5'9" / 170 lbs) for overall comfort. I would definitely buy again.

Excellent but on small side

First time buying Castelli bib shorts, I normally wear size Large in LeCol & Rapha, charts looked like Castelli would be similar in fit. Large works, but is a little on the small side. Would probably try sizing up next time around. Excellent quality otherwise, comfortable and breaths well for indoor training.
