Description

Hors Categorie Jersey

For the rides that defy definition by taking us further than we’ve ever been, the Castelli Hors Categorie Jersey keeps us cool and comfortable for day’s long missions across the ridgelines. Castelli uses a similar fabric to the Velocity Rev3 of the Aero Race Jersey, a synthetic blend with Lycra for a fit that lays well without restricting during your epic rides. The back and sides of the jersey use a 3D mesh to help regulate temperature and wick moisture to keep you cool. Long rides demand lots of fuel to cover such ground, and the Hors Categorie Jersey’s three spacious pockets, larger than those on Castelli’s race jerseys, provide plenty of storage for bars and gels to keep your energy up hour after hour. Long sleeves and a Giro3 waistband lay flat and stay in place through those mid-ride climbs, and a full-length zipper allows for further ventilation when needed.

  • All-around jersey for epic days on the road
  • Synthetic fabric and mesh back regulates temperature and wicks sweat
  • Slightly relaxed fit feels comfortable hour after hour
  • Ample pocket storage ensures you have the fuel needed to finish strong
  • Full-length zipper provides ventilation when temperatures rise

How to Measure:
For best results, take measurements over your underwear.
Chest:
Measure under your arms, around the fullest part of your chest.
Waist:
Measure around your natural waistline, keeping the tape a bit loose.
Hip:
Measure around the fullest part of your body at the top of your legs.
Inseam:
Using pants that fit well, measure the crotch seam to the bottom of the leg.

Good Quality too tight

Qaulity is good but they run small. I'm a Large Chest 41 and waist 35 I do work out a little. the Arms came in super tight and the check forms ripples due to tightness wound the arm pits. I ordered an XL

Purchased this in hopes that it would fit....especially at double XL. I did read reviews so I knew going into the purchase that Castelli runs small....but I didn’t imagine this small. The jersey felt really good as far as materials went...I really wanted it to work. I have an athletic build, broad shoulders, lats and decent bi’s.....definitely not the typical small, thin bike rider build (not that there’s anything wrong with that, because they would likely hand me my ass on the road). Anyways, not much more to comment on. 2 stars for the shirt itself, felt great, good materials, smooth zipper and great colors. If it would have fit, I’m sure it would have been great.

Great Jersey

I love this jersey! The fit is a little on the small side, so I actually wear Castelli one size up from all the other kits I have. Yet it fits like a glove and is very comfortable. It's lightweight and breathes well, the pockets are strong and compress around whatever you've got in it. I'd like for the zippered pocket to have a slightly bigger opening so I could stash my phone there, but it's intended to be a key pocket. It's extremely comfortable, aero because of the trim fit, and I really like the look of it. I paired with the matching shorts and am shocked at how much better I feel wearing this new kit compared to the ones I've been wearing for a few seasons.

Poor moisture wicking.

Familiarity:
I've used it several times
Fit:
True to size

I have four Jerseys from Castelli above and below this price points and have worn this Jersey on three different rides. As usual this Jersey is well built, fits true to size for a cycling Jersey and it looks good. The bad is the poor moisture wicking property, basically when you start sweating you stay wet and feels like you are wrap in Saran Wrap the whole ride. If I can return it after wearing it, I will.

very small for size 2XL

I bought a 2XL size and it nearly fits me. I'm 5' 9" 180 lbs and the 2XL is a pretty tight fit. Its a nice shirt but but for a size 2XL it is very small and is pretty tight .
