Free Sleeveless Tri Top - Men's

Your upper body movements vary drastically throughout the duration of a triathlon, and the top that you wear on race-day needs to be able to adapt to each of the separate stages. However, it also needs to provide you with maximum comfort and muscle support. Lucky for you, Castelli realizes the importance of having a technical top that excels in all of your triathlon legs, which is why it developed the Free Sleeveless Tri Top.

The front panel of the Free Tri Top is constructed with Castelli's hydrophobic Instadry Speed fabric. This material's tight knit composition holds your torso comfortably in place, providing needed protection from run impact and road vibration. A notable perk to the derivative next-to-skin fit is that the top won't cause any excess drag, both on the land and in the water. In terms of the latter, Instadry's hydrophobic treatment provides a smooth surface that cuts through the water. Additionally, this material prevents water absorption from weighing you down during your swim and causing discomfort after T1.

Like Castelli's cycling jerseys, the Free Tri Top features a Velocity mesh construction at the back panel. This highly-breathable, lightweight fabric adds itself to the top’s flexibility, while reducing the internal temperature and transferring perspiration during the land legs of the course.

Panels have been joined with flatlock stitching throughout, preventing chafing and irritation during your run. Additionally, Castelli's GIRO3 arm gripper system comfortably holds the Free Tri Top perfectly in place, with micro clip hooks further locking the top down during your swim and bike legs.

Two slim pockets line the lower back panel, utilizing side openings that remain 'invisible' to water and wind. And while the pockets are minimal compared to those found on cycling jerseys, they easily hold arm warmers, a vest, and any other small clothing items or nutrition that you'll need on a cold race day.
