To The Podium.

While you wait patiently to see how well Rolland fares in this year's races, gain inspiration and channel his storied climbs with the Castelli Men's Cannondale Aero Race 5.1 Jersey. Designed to stay aerodynamic and comfortable as you vie for a spot on the podium, this jersey features a second-skin fit that mimics your body movements in the saddle. The front is crafted from Castelli's Velocity fabric, a featherweight textile engineered with closely-woven fibers that usher air over your shoulder and back with their dimpled surface.

On the back, incredibly breathable 3D mesh fabric lifts moisture away from your skin so you won't feel soggy on hot afternoons, while its dimpled surface complements Velocity to help you slice through the wind. A compression band around the waist keeps the three rear pockets in place when you're storing race-day fuel.

  • Channel your favorite cyclists with this jersey
  • Contoured fit saves watts wherever possible
  • Dimpled fabric aims to create less drag in the wind
  • Mesh panels for constant breathability
  • Three rear pockets stash fuel
  • Waist compression band keeps pockets from sagging
  • Reflective accents help you stay visible on dim days

Just a little small

  • Familiarity: I've used it several times

This is only a little smaller than the CC team jersey. It's tighter (aero) and shorter.

Good Jersey - High Visibility

  • Fit: Runs small
  • Size Bought: XL

I’m a bike commuter putting in 5 days a week @ 30 miles a day so I tend to put more wear on kit faster than most. I’ve only worn this jersey on the bike once but have a few thoughts to share.
1. Yes – I do agree, this is a small fit. I’m 5’10” and 168 pounds. Using the sizing, I ordered a large but it was tight enough that I couldn’t get the zipper to stay closed at the neck. I returned it for an XL which fits much better.
2. It is a race fit. I do feel like I’m trying to get into a weird yoga pose when I try to take it off. Patience is required since as you slide out of it like a snake shedding its skin. It does feel good on the bike.
3. I’m sure that dimpled surface that it adds at least 3MPH to my top speed.
4. The rear pockets extend further up the back than most of my jerseys. I don’t worry about anything falling out but it’s more difficult for me to get to those important items that I put back there

Great Jersey

  • Familiarity: I've used it once or twice and have initial impressions
  • Fit: Runs small
  • Size Bought: Medium

Nice, high quality jersey. Yes, it runs small, but it's SUPPOSED to be aero and form-fitting. Order one size up from your NORMAL CASTELLI SIZE - I wear small in Castelli and the medium in this particular jersey fits me great.

Run very very small

  • Familiarity: I returned this product before using it
  • Fit: Runs small
  • Size Bought: Large

This great looking jersey, well constructed, great materials but BIG BUT i it runs 2 -3 sizes smaller. Competitive Cyclist must discuss this with Castelli's distributors because buying this company bike gear is nightmare.

THat's an XL?

  • Familiarity: I returned this product before using it
  • Fit: Runs small
  • Size Bought: XL

After meticulous research and triple checking the sizing charts and recommendations, and measuring every facet of my torso I was certain a men's XL would fit me. That's what the C.C. website's online chart and the tape measure agreed with. It came in today's mail and it almost fits my 5'3" 115 pound wife just right. DO NOT trust the sizing recommendations here. you will be severely disappointed and have to spend $7 to return it just to get back to square one. Seriously Competitive Cyclist ... is it that hard to line up the sizing realistically? Oh well, UPS loves this for sure. More business for them. *sigh*

I second the small sizing. Ordered an XL and I am 6'3" around 180 pounds. Way too small. Not even sure an XXL would do the trick on this one.
