Description

Designed to stand out, not blend in.

The Castelli Men's Attacco Limited Edition Jersey is designed to stand out from hordes of similarly designed cycling jerseys with its special camouflage graphics alongside Castelli's iconic insignia. Besides its special graphics, you'll find it retains the beloved construction and attention to detail that makes Castelli a favorite of discerning cyclists.

Most notably, the jersey body enjoys ProSecco Strada fabric for moisture-wicking relief as you begin to sweat, paired with breathable mesh panels that channel cool air across sweat-prone areas with every pedal stroke forward. Ultimately, this means you'll be able to comfortably wear this jersey on the warmest rides of the season without succumbing to overheating or practically bathing in perspiration while finishing your ride.

  • Limited camouflage graphics stand out from drab jerseys
  • ProSecco Strada fabric wicks moisture to keep you cool
  • Breathable mesh side panels prevent excessive sweating
  • Full-length YKK zip regulates temperature in the heat
  • Reflective tabs increase your visibility at night
  • Three rear pockets provide functional storage

Really really small

  • Familiarity: I've used it several times
  • Fit: Runs small
  • Size Bought: 3XL

Zipper, cloth and material is satisfactory. As a 6'2" 210lb man, I generally wear 2XL (Pearl Izumi/Voler), but had to return a 2XL and get a 3XL.

Exactly what I wanted

I was looking for a jersey to handle early fall and late spring temps. Sifting through the usual surfeit of superlatives in the description didn't yield a clear temperature rating. I took a chance, ordered one of these, and lucked out. It easily handles 50-55F when coupled with a SS base layer, windstopper arm warmers, and bib shorts. The blurb enthuses that it handles hot temps well, will have to wait til next summer to see about that.
As others have said, the fit is very slightly (less than 1/4 size) looser than typical Castelli. I am an XL in everything else Castelli, and that's the right size for me in this.
The offset zipper looks a little weird but is unnoticeable while riding.
Wish it had one zipper pocket for cash/credit card.

Very Nice Castelli Jersey

  • Familiarity: I've put it through the wringer
  • Fit: True to size
  • Size Bought: L

Very nice quality Castelli jersey. Runs just a bit larger than other Castelli jersey's, but overall a very nice fit and feel.

Castelli Jersey!

  • Familiarity: I've used it once or twice and have initial impressions
  • Fit: True to size

I love the look of the Jersey and the fit is excellent and like always Competitive cyclist always delivers!!!

Great Jersey

  • Familiarity: I've used it several times
  • Size Bought: Medium

Great quality of material and feel at an affordable price. Runs a bit small but not as bad as I thought. Love the design. Perfect for the cooler or hot summer days.

Great Value

  • Familiarity: I've used it once or twice and have initial impressions
  • Fit: Runs small
  • Size Bought: Large

Typical Castelli quality, and at a decent price. The collar zipper design is a bit weird, but overall a really nice jersey, and a slightly more relaxed fit than Castelli’s full race jerseys. A size large is a good fit, I have a few Castelli climber’s jerseys that are snug in the XL size.
So, these jerseys run a bit small, not ridiculously small like some Castelli items.

Nice and cool

I'm very familiar with Castelli and most my kits are Castelli. I'm 5'6" and 150lbs. Slim for the most part. The jersey fits just slightly loose in the sleeves and comfortably around the torso. It's a light material and has open mesh panels on the left and right side for max cooling. The sleeves are a little loose for me but hopefully they will be OK when riding. Otherwise, it's a nice Summer jersey. Or Spring and Fall if it's warm in your region. Got the anthracite bib shorts to go with it.

    Comfy and cool

Great in Georgia heat. Grip stuff on jersey ensures my phone doesn't fly out of the pockets when I jump. I normally fit between a large and xl but ordered 3xl and it's a tad bit baggy. If I rode road miles only I would have bought a 2xl.

Love the colors. Collar, not so much.

    • Familiarity: I've used it once or twice and have initial impressions

I love this jersey, and its colors. It breathes well too, but the collar cut is messed up. Maybe it's by design? You can see it in the company website image. Left side of collar is cut about .5" lower, exposing the red zipper backing. I ordered one, then asked to exchange for another one (staff noted it too), but the replacement jersey is exactly the same. 3 for 3. Hmmm.

Love the colors. Collar, not so much.

The staggered collar is actually a design feature and not a defect. Castelli puts it on a lot of their stuff, possibly to eliminate zipper chafing. I am not a great fan of the design either, but functionally it works well.

    Great first race jersey!

    • Familiarity: I gave it as a gift but have feedback to share

Considering the price point, you honestly can't go wrong with the Attacco jersey. The materials are far better than what you'll find on competitively priced pieces, and it actually fits the way a jersey should. Do be aware that the Attacco jersey, and pretty much everything else that comes out of a Castelli factory, runs about a size small.

Joe is right. I take a medium in Pearl but the Castelli medium was too tight...
