A Bloc Jersey
Going À bloc in cycling can take an entire winter of grueling interval sessions to unlock. That's why the Castelli A Bloc Jersey is so fitting for fair weather riding, as you can demonstrate the culmination of your off-season dedication. In cycling parlance, going À bloc means giving it all you have or riding as hard as you can, and the A Bloc jersey gives full license to attack the race as with everything you've got.
Castelli constructs the main body of the A Bloc from ProSecco Micromesh for extended breathability. Mesh side panels further boost ventilation, so you stay cooler on those fast group rides, and if it's still too warm, a full-length YKK Vislon zipper lets you quickly dump heat. Final material details include the Velocity Rev2 fabric on the sleeves offering a close-to-body fit for better aerodynamics and raw-cut endings for a smooth transition to your skin.
The jersey is finished off with an extended drop tail for more coverage and three rear pockets for hauling snacks, tubes, and reflective piping, helping increase your visibility in low light.

Typical Castelli Quality and Fit
- I've used it once or twice and have initial impressions
- Size Bought:
- 5' 10"
This is a high quality jersey, especially for the price. A perfect summer-weight jersey, very breathable, with mesh side panels. In my experience Castelli makes their short sleeve jerseys with two cuts: form-fitting, and very-form-fitting. I own over a dozen Castelli short sleeve jerseys in a mix of L and XL sizes. The A-bloc jersey is in the form-fitting category, which is snug, but not nearly as snug as Castelli's more expensive aero and climber's jerseys. For me the Large is a perfect fit, and the drop tail provides enough back coverage. Sleeves are also a bit longer than some other styles, which I prefer. Every Castelli jersey tends to have negative CC reviews about sizing, as they always run small, especially for anyone who isn't thin. My advice is to check the sizing chart, and order up one size if you're skinny, two sizes if you're not. If you're a big rider you may find that Castelli just isn't right for you in any available size.

- I returned this product before using it
I sized up and the jersey fit well. The lower part is not black, but military green. I thought that color was referring to one of the upper colors. I would rather have black and fluo yellow so I returned the jersey.
