Cover up.

We can't think of a single activity that's made better by having wet shoes. Cycling is no different. And when you're riding in the winter, you better cover your feet. Luckily, the Capo Tempest Rain Booties are breathable, water-resistant, and warming. Throw in an impeccable, Italian-inspired fit, and you've found your solution to wet-weather ailments.

To maintain a 100% waster-resistancy, Capo made the Tempest booties from its RainE fabric. Making use of a polyurethane coated membrane, RainE not only keeps water out, but it promotes breathability to let moisture out, as well. Additionally, the material is quite stretchable, so, you don't have to worry about the fabric tearing or over-stretching when you put the booties over your shoes. For extra warmth, Capo also backed the material with a microfleece insulation.

For fit, Capo relied on its tried-and-true Block System for the entry/exit point. This system reinforces the rear zipper and heel cup by strengthening the seams that its connected to. On top of that, the Tempest follows a minimally seamed design that flows with the natural contours of your foot. Now, you'll be riding dry, comfortable, and warm.

Please note that Capo suggests wearing the Tempest booties between 45 and 55 degrees Fahrenheit for maximum effectiveness. Also, Capo has taken the time to tape the critical seams of the booties for maximum water-resistance.

The Capo Tempest Rain Booties are available in the color Black and in five sizes from Small to XX-Large.

Bulkier than other options but great

  • Familiarity: I've put it through the wringer

Great option for a waterproof bootie. I'm a huge hater of riding in the rain. I've done it far too many times and I just hate it. These are a bit bulkier than other options, but they are totally waterproof nonetheless.

Keeps the Feets Dry

Last minute purchase for a road race with a forecast of rain for the entirety. Sure glad I picked these up, because it poured at 40 degrees and most of the field dropped out!

The Tempest rain bootie kept enough of the wet out, and enough of the heat in to "comfortably" finish the race in good spirits. The overall quality is excellent, and the zipper is easy to get on, without feeling like you risk tearing your new booties like some super-tight options that are available. One of the best options available for a rain bootie.

I am intersted in your Capo Tempest Rain...

I am intersted in your Capo Tempest Rain Booties - the size guide links to gloves; is their one for shoes? I am size EURO 45.

I will go ahead and get that chart fixed. For a EU 45 you would be a large in these booties.
