Pedal strong.

Part of Capo's top-of-the-line Corsa series, the Pursuit Men's Bib Shorts are engineered to suit your body while it's in motion, helping improve your ride by supporting muscles, managing moisture, and maintaining comfort when you're in the saddle. Capo made the shorts from HG Power Lycra, an extra-compressive weave that reduces unwanted muscle vibration, so you can direct more energy into the pedals rather than wasting it stabilizing small muscles. Power Lycra is also abrasion-resistant, in case you come a cropper, and boasts exceptional wicking properties, so you stay dry even on the hardest rides and hottest days.

The bib straps have a minimal design to decrease weight and increase comfort, and are constructed from ultra-breathable V-Mesh 360 fabric to prevent moisture build-up and provide unmatched comfort. All fibers are also treated with Meryl ActiSystem, a special microfiber treatment that provides antimicrobial properties to fight off odor and UV protection to save your skin from the sun's rays. Last but not least, the Anatomic-L HD Carbon insert in the shorts provides lightweight and breathable padding to make long days in the saddle easier to bear.

Another Capo-nundrum

  • Familiarity: I've used it several times
  • Fit: True to size
  • Size Bought: Medium

I loved the previous version of these. The legs were longer, the fabric was more stretchy and they stayed in place. Perfect, EXCEPT after half a season of being in the rotation, I headed out for a ride and my wife stopped me and said she could see my backside, plain as day. That was the end of wearing those.
The fabric on these is better as far as see-thru-ness goes, but I agree with the others here. After a few pedal strokes on the bike, they have slid up my legs as the grippers are lose around my legs even though the rest of the legs are tight.
The straps take some fussing to lay flat and usually bunch up while riding.
The pad is excellent however, and other than having to pull them down all the time, they're comfortable on the bike.
After the last washing, the upper part of the bib is all stretched out for some reason. I washed in cold and laid them on a drying rack. I have no idea what happened.
I think I'm done with Capo after yet another disappointment. There are many better choices out there for the money.

Too short and they ride up

  • Familiarity: I've used it several times
  • Fit: True to size
  • Size Bought: Small

So everything about the construction of these shorts is top notch: workmanship, materials, chamois. But for me, the legs are too short. When I first put them on they're fine, but by 5 minutes into a ride they've slid up my thighs at least two inches and the material bunches up in the groin where the leg meets the chamois. Today I wore them with knee warmers that have a grippy rubber ring around the top to keep your shorts in place and they still slid up, right above the top of the knee warmers. These may have to be retired to turbo trainer duty.

Odd leg grippers...

  • Fit: True to size
  • Size Bought: XL

First off, I typically wear L in US brands and XL in euro. I ordered the XL and it fit fine except the leg openings. The leg grippers were really loose around my quads and the second I started peddaling they rode right up my leg, giving me the sweet daisy dukes look but more importantly bunching material around my inner thighs. No thanks. I ride a lot, I have strong quads, but I don't have massive trunks. So if you are a skinny lean rider, these shorts probably wont work. If you are massive, give em a whirl.

Excellent Bib shorts

  • Familiarity: I've used it once or twice and have initial impressions
  • Fit: True to size
  • Size Bought: Medium

This Bibs are very confortable, stay in place during the ride and also fit perfect, I am 5'7" 158 pounds and the medium fit me great, I have used other brands and honestly I am impress with this short. Definitely I recomend this product

Best for the money

  • Familiarity: I've put it through the wringer
  • Fit: True to size

Have used bib shorts from Garneau, Specialized, Giordana, Castelli, De Marchi and these are the most dependable, comfortable, stylish and with a great pad as well. If you can pick them up on sale, grab them. I've had 3 other styles of CAPO bib shorts (Size Small) and these are a slightly roomier cut than the others. Fabric is great. I have a tendency to burn through bibs due to many hours/miles but these are the best in terms of comfort and durability. Plus CAPO backs their products warranty wise and the few problems I've had were handled by both CC and CAPO with no hassle.
