Long sleeves and full protection.
The Capo Lombardia DWR Long Sleeve Jersey is named for the race of the falling leaves. It's also made with fabrics and fit that are appropriate for any training ride or competitive race that takes place in the season of falling temperatures or on a day of falling rain.
The Lombardia's heart is Capo's DWR-treated Thermo Roubaix fabric. Its warp knit gives it a stretchiness that isn't normally available in such warm material. The threads' zig-zag pattern also reduces the amount of material needed to provide the same coverage, equating directly to an airy, lightweight construction. Thermo Roubaix is reinforced with the Element 4 material, a wind and water resistant layer that keeps the outside out so Thermo Roubaix can keep you warm. Both fabrics are highly breathable and transfer moisture from the skin to the quick-drying surface of the jersey, and Capo's precision brushing process softens up the inner lining while providing a micro layer of loft for insulation.
Capo made the same number of sacrifices in fit as in elemental protection: none. The Lombardia is built according to the same streamlined fits of Capo's top-end racing kit. The panels are cut and arranged to smoothly wrap the arms and torso for hindrance-free movement in the saddle. While the short sleeve version provides more versatility in fit, we find ourselves gravitating toward long sleeves when conditions warrant this level of protection.
A drop-tail hem was also added to keep your back-end adequately shielded from water that comes from above or below. A tall collar keeps you sealed up top, and a full-length front zipper lets you regulate your temperature as needed. Capo finished off the Lombardia jersey with reflective tabs on the hems, as well as reflective logos front and rear. Three rear pockets line the lower back panel in order to house all of your riding essentials.
The Capo Lombardia DWR Long Sleeve Jersey is available in the color Black and in five sizes from Small to XX-Large in the colors Black and Yellow.
