H11 AFS Rotor

Pivotal in the brute stopping force of Campagnolo's Ergopower H11 Disc Brakes, the H11 AFS Rotor maintains thermal resistance during lengthy descents and high-octane scenarios where disc brakes are pushed to the absolute limit. The inner-aluminum spider helps with heat dissipation, meaning you'll feel confident braking on extended descents where other rotors get overly hot and lose braking power.

Backing Campy's claims of superior braking, the H11 Rotor stops reliably to 800 watts without suffering damage, such as melted alloy and reduced rotor thickness. This is especially impressive when you realize one of the major competitors suffered damage at only 650 watts of force, showcasing the H11's ability to effectively disperse heat without warping or bending. Seeing the front takes the brunt of stopping force, the front rotor is only available in a 160-millimeter version, whereas you can choose between a 140 and 160-millimeter rear.

Because disc brakes are inherently more dangerous in high-speed crashes, Campy designed the H11 Rotor with a smooth perimeter that reduces the chance of slicing open your body in the event of a nasty crash. To ensure safety, Campy employed a Swiss lab to simulate the H11 Rotor versus the competition when pushing against a skin-like model with high force. Results showed the competitor's wavy rotors sliced through the simulated tissue, whereas the H11 didn't leave a cut inflicted upon the model. Although still controversial in professional racing, disc brakes can be implemented in a safe fashion, with Campagnolo leading the charge in developing smooth rotors that lessen the chance of crash-induced cuts and nasty incisions.

Campagnolo missed the mark with these.

I returned this product before using it

Both 160mm rotors I received were warped. One was bad enough that it could not be setup without rubbing the pads. Returned for refund.

Fantastic set of rotors

I've put it through the wringer

I replaced my Ultegra RT800 rotors with these, 160mm front - 140mm rear. The overall breaking strength is the same, but feedback and modulation seem a little more refined, they make less noise, and pad wear is noticably lower.

These work perfectly, but no lockring

I've put it through the wringer

No complaints at all on functionality; they work extremely well and are quiet. There was no lockring with the rotor though, bouncing it down to 4 stars.

Why doesn't it come with the lock ring??? Just opened mine up to install-- it's maddening

Uh, no. Shimano centerlock hubs do not come with the lockring because the lockring comes with the Shimano rotor. Campagnolo should provide the lockring, but their AFS procedure is probably to provide the lockring with the hub or wheel, opposite to Shimano. Marketing; you are encouraged to buy the Campag hub or wheel. I think stuff like this can backfire.
