CamelBak quality

  • Familiarity: I've put it through the wringer

Really good water bottle with all the CamelBak features that you love, adding the extra insulation which is really nice, so if you want to drink cold fresh water in the middle of a long ride, this is the bottle for you.
I like it that much that want to use it everyday instead of just for my bike rides.

Not really worth an extra $10...

Not sure why every review says how amazing these are. Sure 4x longer than a regular Camelbak which ends up being an hour. I go out with ice and slushy mix and my reg CB is done in 15 mins and getting warm and the podium ice stands up for maybe 45 mins to an hour in 90+ degree heat with the sun blazing down on you. If keeping your backup water bottle cool for a little while longer is a priority sure spend the extra $10.

So, it sounds like what they claim is true. Drop a couple of those fancy Starbucks drinks and the cost is a wash.

Ice Cold

This is a great bottle to keep my water cold for a long time. It is too large to fit in my Santa Cruz Hightower's bottle cage but it works great on my hip pack. I recommend to all who are interested

great water flow, easy to clean! can't squeeze the last bit of fluid for some reason

This water bottle is incredible how long it can hold ice. I love it. It is all that I use now. Perfect for hiking because it's pretty lightweight and has a lot of volume!

    my new favorite water bottle

I went to the store to get a new larger water bottle, the water bottles they had were kinda tacky and overall just sad looking. Then, there were these things. I was like.. Those things look kinda weird. I started to squeeze them and check out the valve system they created. I bought one for myself and one for the wife when we go to the gym.

Yep, one of the best purchases I have made in awhile. Now, do I want to use it on my road bike? The pretty large opening/tip seems like it would end up being like an over eager woman of the night and by morning who knows what you would pull out of there? I feel the same thing would go on using this on a bike. Bugs? Gravel? Sand? I am talking about the bottle, not the woman of the night, get your mind out of the gutter.

The insulation seems to work really well too. Though, if you are trying to hydrate, having super cold water does you no good until your body raises the liquid back up to body temp anyhow before it can absorb it. A sloshy stomach isn't all that comfortable.

I would definitely recommend this bottle for the gym, or even driving in the car, or being at work.
