Description

Everything You Need.

You don't necessarily need to carry a ton of gear to head out on a long ride when there's no threat of bad weather. With nutrition bars providing plenty of energy and tubeless tires providing whole seasons of no-flat riding, the only things you need to carry are a phone, multi-tool, and an energy bar. Coincidentally, that's exactly what the Camelbak Lobo Hydration Backpack has room to carry—well, that and enough of water for a three-hour ride.

The Lobo's narrow profile helps prevent the pack from swinging around behind you as you cruise over rocks, roots, and other obstacles. Not only is this feature great for saving weight, but it's also less cumbersome, so you're able to maneuver through tight trails with ease. The Lobo also features an Air Director back panel that cushions and promotes airflow to keep you cool and comfy. The Lobo is also equipped with CamelBak's Crux reservoir, which delivers 20% more water per sip, ensuring you stay hydrated as you navigate rolling singletrack, slickrock, and loony downhill pursuits alike.

  • A low-profile hydration pack specifically for mountain biking
  • Main compartment carries basic tools and energy bars
  • Crux reservoir delivers more water per sip and is easy to refill
  • Magnetic Tube Trap keeps your sipping hose secure
  • Carrying system secures helmets when you're not riding
  • Overflow storage easily accommodates a rain shell
  • Stability belt is removable for your convenience

NEWer vs OLDer model

  • Familiarity: I've put it through the wringer

I have two of these Camelbaks. I have an older model and a newer model for comparison. The older model first - the hydration pouch itself holds the same amount but is all one shape, and the drinking tube and mouth piece are not as big. the compartments themselves inside the pack are very narrow, and once the bladder is full, it is hard to access anything inside of them except the very outside pouch. I did like it when I bought it but after using it a a bunch developed a dislike to these things. The NEWer model - I love it. The bladder is designed diff, the bottom being more narrow than the top, still holding the same amount, but the water does not sit at the bottom as the level get lower, keeping the bladder from bulging out (prev error fixed!. Bc of this the compartments are all easily to access, even when water is completely full. Additionally, these compartments are more thought out, and seem a little roomier. The tube on the bladder and mouth piece are also bigger, and allow more water flow, and the top on the bladder is a screw on vs the weird lock in function before - MUCH MUCH easier. The back on the newer is also slight arched to allow more air flow. Would reccom this to anyone who needs lots of water, and doesn't need a whole lot of space.
