Next-level Fun.

When you leave the mountain hut in the pre-dawn gray, your mind's probably racing through routes and equipment and all the details you need to reach the summit. But despite all the things you're supposed to remember, it's important to enjoy the solitude and beauty of the mountain. So, let the CamelBak Fourteener 24 Hydration Backpack take care of some of the details. Weighing in at a little over two pounds and with 1,465 cubic inches of storage space, this backpack specializes in storage and hydration to help you find success in your journey.

The Fourteener 24 Hydration Backpack is built around the Crux Reservoir, which delivers more water per sip than previous models to keep you hydrated and working at peak performance. A separate hydration compartment makes it easy to load the reservoir, even when you stop for a refill, and leaves more room in the main compartment for your layers and gear. A variety of smaller pockets keep bars, head lamps, maps, media, and sunglasses organized and close at hand. CamelBak equipped the Fourteener with an articulated back panel, internal frame, and compression straps to keep the pack balanced as you navigate technical terrain and stop to appreciate breathtaking views on your way to the top.

  • A technical 24L daypack that specializes in hydration
  • Updated reservoir has an ergonomic handle for quick refills
  • Separate hydration compartment holds reservoir flat
  • Back panel features articulated pods for maximum ventilation
  • Load-bearing hip belt with open mesh for breathability
  • Trekking pole attachment and tool loop for extra storage
  • Load lifters and compression straps help distribute the load
  • Magnetic strap keeps hydration tube secure and accessible

Back Support Not Comfortable

  • Familiarity: I returned this product before using it

Did not even take the tags off because the back of the pack has a large cushy foam-like back support piece near the bottom of the bag, along with with smaller ones that rest against your back that you can easily see in the pictures. I guess it's supposed to be for support but that large piece is just not comfortable. It felt like there was a lot of pressured applied to that part of my back. Hip belt is also flimsier than others in this range.
