Leaving the car at home thanks to the Travoy!
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I could tell right from opening the package that this trailer was quality. The extended arm works perfectly for my electric bike that had a longer back. So far, will use it for mostly groceries. This lets me leave the car at home and save gas $$$.

Revolution in Last Mile deliveries?
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] We’ll worth the money. Perfect for groceries, but … As a former bike courier, I dream of the Travoy as a revolution in “Last Mile” deliveries. Pallets of small containers (like milk crates) could be dropped near city centers and bike couriers could swarm them, taking 3 small containers at a time. They can take the Travoy trailers into buildings and elevators, deliver the overnight envelopes or boxes, and quickly return for more. Result? Far fewer delivery trucks blocking city streets and more on time deliveries. Could be adapted for food deliveries too. Could do for city deliveries what container ships did for international trade. Think speed not tonnage.

Walking Trailer
I have been using the Travoy bike trailer for a few years now and I love it. Recently I have been working on an attach system to combine the trailer with a back country ski harness (that I use for pulling a sled in winter). I came up with the perfect walking trailer for short or long distance use. I have tested this system on a 100 km walk on the Trans Canada Trail and I was surprised how I could pull my gear effortlessly without having to walk with a backpack and suffer hip, shoulder and/or back pain. Works great on gravel and dust road too. No trouble also going up or down hill with it. I have now two ways to enjoy my Travoy trailer...

Burley Travoy as a Golf Cart
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I pull my Travoy behind my ICE Recumbent Trike and use it as a golf cart. It performs very well, is convenient to transport to and from the golf course and provides excellent space to hold my golf bag and clubs. My wife also uses it on her Recumbent Trike to carry groceries from the local grocery store.

10 years and over 12k miles later, I think it's time for a review.
I bought the Travoy over a decade ago when I was planning a tour of the US. To bike the perimeter to be exact. I wanted to use my road bike and wanted a compact trailer. The Travoy was one of the few options at the time. The good: Compact Easy to use The bad: Tips over on uneven roads pretty easily Plastic parts are not so durable. Specifically the mechanisms to to collapse the trailer. It would be amazing if the good folks at Burley could make a touring version of the Travoy. Perhaps a longer axel to make it more stable. Less plastic parts to collapse the trailer. Maybe latches instead? If you Burley folks read this, I would love to help design one!

Updated Travoy
This is the second Travoy I've owned (wife got the first one in the divorce.) It still rocks for commuting/shopping/errands in general. I may even try using it for some bike overnights in the spring. I do appreciate all of the changes and updates, but there is one thing I wish could make a return. The tote bag used to double as a bag on the trailer. Now, it's missing the clips. I suppose it could be strapped, that that sure was a nice feature as it allowed my to use it to carry things while having it on hand if I needed to use it as a tote for the trailer.

Trail runner
I bought this trailer to be a grocery getter behind my e-bike, which it is terrific for. But it is even more competent on dirt single-track trails. The trailer carries mymy gear and beer leaving my bike unencumbered to negotiate difficult trails. Worth it's weight in golden autumn leaves.
