Burley Nomad Trailer $338.95
Ready for a real road trip.
Only barbarians drive cars, and nobody wants to be seen as a uncivilized, so opt for a more sophisticated and stylish method of travel by hooking the Burley Nomad Trailer up to your touring bike for overnight camping trips, cross-state hauls, or an open-ended life on the road. The Nomad is perfect for all types of adventures, with 100 pounds or 6407 cubic inches of sleeping-bag-hauling, tent-towing, and food-schlepping capacity that's built on a lightweight aluminum frame, strong forged hitch, and durable alloy wheels. It attaches easily to any bike with a reliable pin system that's reminiscent of hitch-mounted automobile bike racks, and it features a balanced design that reduces torque on the bike and eliminates the herky-jerky pedal-slamming feeling that can be a feature of less sophisticated trailers.
Inside, the Nomad keeps things simple but functional, which is just the way it should be. Burley designed a collapsible internal divider to help you keep things organized (you can use one quadrant for kitchen gear, one for sleeping stuff, one for clothing, and one for food) and included three mesh pockets for small items and six tie-down points that prevent your possessions from sliding around. A weatherproof cover stops cloudbursts from turning your carefully packed gear into a soggy mess, and the reflectors and safety flag provide some added security between your starting point and that night's destination.

- Three large mesh pockets and six internal tie-downs
- Waterproof cover

Light, smooth and top quality
- Familiarity: I returned this product before using it
I have returned the trailer because my tour in Spain has been postponed (?) ... :( but I would like to share my impressions:
This trailer is light, runs very smoothly and does not pull to the sides, has quality wheels with a very easy attachment system (simply pressing a button); the hitch system is secured and of good quality. the only thing I did not care so much for is the weak/thin canvas at the bottom; I understand that this is done to keep the weight down but maybe a different/sturdier light material could be used instead, which would make this trailer much more versatile.
I've seen a few trailers and I can tell you that this one, although a bit expensive, is of top quality
- Familiarity: I've used it once or twice and have initial impressions
I had another brand trailer for a few years and figured it was time for something new.Really glad I decided on the Burley Nomad.Very nice design an the build quality is great.I'm planning a lot of short trips this summer and I'm sure this trailer will cover a lot of miles. It will haul much more weight than I intend to carry yet it's a lot lighter than my last trailer.
Very Well Made
I haven't gotten a chance to use this yet, but I'm very impressed with the construction. Looks good, is easy to attach to a bike, and will fit a a decent amount of stuff.
Great light easy to pull trailer
- Familiarity: I've used it several times
- Fit: True to size
Amazing how much weight this handles I even ordered the optional bar kit for on top, extra storage for anything to long to fit inside. Thumbs up!
