One Buff, six million uses.

The beauty of the UV Half Buff is its simplicity. Half the size of a regular Buff, it fits perfectly under hats and helmets, around ears and hair, or even around wrists. No matter how you wear it, it blocks 95% of UV radiation, wicks moisture, dries quickly, and, thanks to a Polygiene odor-resistant treatment, won't even get stinky.

Just a touch too short

  • Familiarity: I've used it several times
  • Fit: True to size

The colors are great, its light weight, and it makes a great headband. Although, if you're looking for something to really protect your neck on the river this isn't it. Naturally, it has half as much bulk as a full-size buff which is great for the warmer weather, not so great for coverage. Maybe I'm being too Goldilocks here, but a 3/4 buff would be just right.

keeps the wind burn off of your neck

  • Familiarity: I've put it through the wringer
  • Fit: True to size

I use this while riding my motorcycle long distances, great for defeating that infamous wind burn.

No Reason Not To Have It

Buffs are great for Summer and Winter no matter what kind of weather you encounter. Never leave home without one in my pack!

Always great

  • Familiarity: I've used it several times
  • Fit: True to size

As a runner, I love all of my Buffs for keeping the sweat off my face in the summer and covering my mouth/face in the freezing Michigan winters. This half-Buff in "Bubbles" print is colorful and cool.

Cant go wrong

great product, UV protection is such a nice detail

I dig it

I use this buff while skiing and helps with wind protection. Without a doubt I'll be buying more!

    Love My Buff

    • Familiarity: I've used it several times

I bought the "Roles Red" one for a camping trip and I wore it almost everyday before I even went on my trip. I absolutely love the color against my dark hair and how it fits. I originally only had a full buff but it was too tight on my head which gave me headaches. The half buff is wider with less material so it feels great on my head all day! When I took it camping for a week it didn't smell, it dried quickly, and it didn't cause me to break out the way my other headband did. Great buy!

    A no brainer

    • Familiarity: I've put it through the wringer
    • Fit: True to size

I bought a pair of this Half Size Buff because I wanted to use them as headbands for wicking away the sweat off my forehead when road biking. Since it's half the size of your regular Buff, it means less fabric to deal with, which delivers a perfect stealth fit when using it under a bike helmet.

As others have claimed in their comments, Buff equals to versatility, durability & protection.

Got this for a friend that had a worn out old fleece neck gaiter. He likes the versatility of it's lightweight and flexibility.

My sister has some crazy thick hair and she says these work amazing at keeping it out of her face when hiking or trail running.

Great for so many things, can be used as a sweat band, or to keep your hair up if you have long hair, first aid.

By far my favorite type of headband

      • Familiarity: I've put it through the wringer
      • Fit: True to size
      • Size Bought: One size fits all

I love the versatility of these headbands and how you can use them different ways. It is the only type so far that has been able to contain my mane.

      Halfie for the Win!

      • Familiarity: I gave it as a gift but have feedback to share
      • Fit: True to size

I bought one for my best friend as a birthday gift, she's constantly complaining that her full buff is just too much fabric and she has tried to steal my half buff on numerous occasions so she was over the moon when I gave this to her. She's a convert and has requested half buffs for her birthday from here on out!

      Best thing I didn't know I needed

      • Familiarity: I've used it several times
      • Fit: True to size

I heard some good reviews about Buffs and figured since it has so many uses, that it would be a good thing to add to my purchase. So far, I have used it as a helmet liner when rock climbing and cycling, when I went on a run to hold in my headphones, as a hairband, and just as a headband to walk. I love it!

Thanks for the review Sarah! Super helpful to get this feedback out to the community. Gotta have a buff on you.

      It's a buff

      • Familiarity: I've used it several times

Buffs are great for just about anything. Use it as a sweat band. Or to keep your hair out of your face. I see it as a must for any hike or backpacking trip. I think in a first aid situation a buff could also be useful
