So, to ensure that you're able to train in cold water temperatures, Blueseventy created its Swim Socks. These socks feature a neoprene construction that insulates against the cold during your swim. This characteristic has been furthered through the socks' high cuff. By cutting it high, Blueseventy ensured that less water will infiltrate the socks' insulation layer, keeping you warmer for longer. And in addition to keeping you warm, the neoprene's thickness and conforming fit will also protect your feet from rocks during either transitions or entry to the water.

- Familiarity: I've put it through the wringer
I've only warn these swimming a couple of times, but found that they worked perfectly. They provided enough warmth against water temps in the low-50s.
Out of the water, I have used these many times for cooler, wet rides during the winter. I find they provide a good amount of protection from water coming up off the roads and help keep my feet warmer.

I used the swim socks from May until September in the cold waters of Lake Michigan. Average temp 54 degrees. Perfect for my open water swim. No excuses not to swim in cold water.

they are fantastic for warmth and more importantly protection against the elements (rocks, asphalt) surrounding my nearby lake.
