Save a tube

  • Familiarity: I've used it once or twice and have initial impressions

Save a tube! Save some time too... These are awesome to just push in and go. You don't have to get out the tube and tire levers, then pull the off the tire etc. They're great.

Plug The Punctures

Keep these on hand and save yourself the trouble of throwing in a tube when you get a puncture. Work great as a refill for whatever tool you use.

    Proper Replacement

    • Familiarity: I've used it several times

If you run tubeless tires, you NEED a plugging tool and eventually you will need to refill your supply, these lil guys are the proper replacements for pretty much all tubeless plug kits. My go to is the OneUp EDC kit. Highly recommend getting some replacements to keep on hand in your home tool kit for a refill when you need it.

    Bacon is best

    • Familiarity: I've put it through the wringer

I can't tell you how many times these bacon strips have saved me, a friend, or a stranger from being stranded out on the trail. For larger holes, I use two plugs for extra plugging power. So when you get a hole, PLUG it up. The rear tire on my hardtail has had a plug in it all summer. The second ride I put a hole in the tire, plugged it, and have since put a couple hundred miles on the tire. I don't recommend running a plug in your tire for very long, but I wanted to test how long it would hold. I've been impressed with how durable the plug has been.

    Plug it Up

    • Familiarity: I've put it through the wringer

Tubeless tires and sealant have tons of advantages, carrying tire plus will save you the pain of installing a tube after a small cut or puncture.

These have saved me a number of times and I always ride with them.

    Bacon strips and bacon strips!

Great replacement for my EDC tool from OneUp.

    Great.

These are nice. Instead of resulting straight to putting a tube in the tire, then try plugging the hole.
