Perfectly pressurized.

Finding a good pump may not the trendiest topic of conversation at the pre-ride coffee gathering, but it's a decision that'll have a big impact on the start of almost every day in the saddle. The Blackburn Piston 3 Floor Pump makes getting out the door a breeze with a giant pressure gauge, clean styling, and classic Blackburn durability. Its gauge is slightly larger than the Piston 2, which makes it even easier to read through bleary eyes while topping off the tires before an early morning spin. With an AnyValve pump head that works with Presta, Schrader, and Dunlop valves and an irreproachable steel base and barrel, the Piston 3 stands to become a fixture in your pre-ride ritual for years of perfectly pressurized tires.

  • A floor pump you can depend on
  • Durable steel construction for years of use

A Floor Pump You Can't Depend On..

  • Familiarity: I've put it through the wringer

The first one that I had worked ok for a month and then started leaking air out of the bottom. Blackburn replaced it no questions asked, which was great, but then the second pump started having the exact same issue. I use this pump to inflate my mountain bike tires to around 20 psi and my road bike tires to 100 psi. This is nowhere near the claimed 160 psi limit of this pump. On top of that, it is extremely difficult to attach/detach the pump from presta valves. Complete waste of money. Now going through the warranty process again.. Save your time and money and get a tried and true pump that works.

HUGE Gauge

  • Familiarity: I've used it once or twice and have initial impressions

I recently got this pump, the price is very reasonable, the pump feels well built and sturdy. The gauge on this is huge, it makes it very easy to read!

Great Basic Pump

  • Familiarity: I've used it several times

Reasonable price, easy to read gauge, easy to get on/off the valve... happy so far.

Great Pump

  • Familiarity: I've put it through the wringer

This has been a great pump. I love the huge gauge. It makes it super easy to see exactly where my tires are at. I've used it on my mtn bike, my kids bikes, and also my road bike. It's been great. I need to buy another one to put it in the back of my truck.

Is it a bit ingenuous to post a bunch of 5 Star glowing reviews of brands you rep for? I actually use the reviews to make buying decisions, as I am sure others do as well.
I would hope CC would moderate and delete the clearly biased reviews...clearly Josh reps for Blackburn, Giro and Bell. At least he has

Worst pump I’ve ever had

  • Familiarity: I've used it several times

Prior to this pump, I had a $15 dollar pump from Aldi that lasted me two years until my bf broke the handle off. Even with a missing handle, my previous pump was better than this one. When it is actually working and not leaking air out the bottom, it is really difficult to push the head of the pump on to a presto valve. If you do manage to get it on, it is almost impossible to get it up to a desired pressure for a road tire. It is very difficult to pump. Most times though, the air just blow straight out of the bottom of the pump, even after retightening the screws twice.

I had the same experience with this pump! Total garbage!

Does the job at a great price.

  • Familiarity: I've used it several times

This pump has been awesome! the floor gauge is really nice and easy to use. Great price for a quality pump. It will MAX out at 160 PSI which is more than enough for any bike. Highly recommded

Bang for your buck

  • Familiarity: I've used it several times

Does a solid job pumping up tires and metal the base plate makes the pump feel quite sturdy. Awesome value!

Works well, huge gauge

  • Familiarity: I've used it several times

If you're looking for a pretty basic pump that outshines the rest, look no further. This Blackburn pump does a good job seating tubeless tires and getting up to higher PSI for road tires. The huge gauge makes it easy to read, which at first I thought I wouldn't care much about, but it's really helpful. You won't want to use a pump with a small gauge again.

first pump

i've always relied on friends or pumps available to the public to pump up my tires. this year i decided enough is enough i'm getting a pump! i'm super excited about this purchase. the valve connects easily and the numbers on the gauge are so big and so easy to read. i'll have this pump for years.
