Be seen!

  • Familiarity: I've used it several times

I'd like to think that most car-related cycling fatalities are accidental. Given that, anything helps when it comes to being seen! I love these little lights. They're incredibly simple and attractive, and are easy to use with gloves on! Please reach out to me at if you have any questions!

It's about being seen

These are definitely low on lumens. I bought two; they connect to each other around the head tube. I wanted to use them as 'side lights'. I would never rely on them for the rear and they're too dim even for the sides. Reflective tape works as well. I ride brevets, often overnight, and I want simple, reliable visibility. I don't even use these for commuting.

What's worse than investing in a single speed roadie to take to the bar at night so you can save money on the Uber home? Investing in a single speed roadie to take to the bar at night so you can save money on the Uber home and NOT having the legally required lights on your bike, potentially leading to a traffic stop while you've got a 0.07 blood-alcohol content. Blackburn's headlights and taillights are gonna get you home safe and won't cost you an arm and a leg to replace when some jerk at the aforementioned bar decides to swipe them off your bike because he's probably way OVER the legal limit and doesn't want to get another BUI, which is why he's riding a bike in the first place. But not you. You would never do that. You're responsible af.

Great value

This little light easily attaches to your seat post and is more than enough to be seen as you cruise around after dark. I always use the flashing function as it is more visible and safer for riding on city streets.

"Side light"

I'd give it five stars if the batteries lasted longer and were easier to replace. Otherwise, it's a decent urban light. It's not necessarily bright but I don't use it as a tail light. I got two and connect them to each other around my head tube. That way I'm visible from the side too. It holds up well in our Florida weather.

    great little light

I bought this and the click head light at the same time. This is a great little light for the money. First click on, second click flash, and third click off. Super bright and cool features for the money. Highly recommend.
