Core Mini-Pump

The Blackburn Core Mini-Pump provides a compact solution for inflating your tires on the road and trail, so you can easily toss it in your hydration pack or attach it to your frame with the included mount. This Core Mini-Pump features a flexible, pull-out hose that reduces stress, so you don't snap delicate valves clean off. The Presta thread-on head resides atop the hose, which conveniently stores away in the barrel of the pump when it's not in use. And because Presta valves often get loose and release excess air while you're riding, there's a machined valve core tool right at the pump's base for keeping everything nice and snug.

Cute, but doesn't pump.

Familiarity:
I've used it several times

I've used a Blackburn CoreStik for a couple years now. When I dropped it on the road, I thought I'd try replacing it with something a little lighter. Big mistake. While pretty and light, this Core Slim couldn't fill a balloon. The head does not attach firmly to a normal presta stem and there is no aperture adjustment. The pump seems to be single action and, with a bore of about 3/4" and stroke of 4", it is gonna take all day to pump up a tire, even if the head didn't leak. I'm going back to my CoreStik
