Why We Like The Clutch Carbon Side Entry Cage
Whether we’re racing or just riding our newest full-suspension mountain bikes, the Blackburn Clutch Carbon Side Entry Cage comes in clutch for our water-bottle accessibility needs. Left or right side load compatible, we use this cage from Blackburn when our front triangle is a bit too small to handle a normal bat-cage style water bottle mount.
- Water-bottle cage for your full-suspension mountain bike
- Carbon is lightweight, strong, and doesn't degrade over time
- Fits on any bicycle with bottle cage mounts
- Left or right orientation, so choose the side you’re most comfortable with

Great Cage!
- Familiarity:
- I've put it through the wringer
I have several cages and this is my favorite. Lot's of jumps and rough stuff and never lost a bottle.

Won't hold bottles

Love the way this cage looks, its lightness, and the side entry, but bottles fly out of it at the least bump. I've got it mounted on my road bike, and have tried both Camelbak and Elite bottles, and both come flying out. Very disappointing.

Works great!!!

A bit pricey but the only bottle cage that did what I needed it to do, and did it well. A bit of a small front triangle on my frame made (almost) impossible to find a way to mount two bottle cages with 24oz bottles and my TopTube Bag. These can mount really low on the frame and are thin enough to get close together. They are also the only side pull cage I've tried that allows you to put the bottles in directly from the side and pivot up into place.

Is "left" a left handed one, or does that describe where the arm on the cage is?

You need a right hand and a left hand one. if you want your bottles to come out of the same side of the frame. A right handed one on the Seat Tube will have a right hand exit. But the same cage placed on the downtube will have a left hand exit.

Hey Dieter - it denotes which hand you will use to get the bottle. so right hander will be open to the right.
