Great carbon cages
- Familiarity:
- I've used it several times
Perfect cages to complement my Orbea Orca Aero. Now even the cages look menacing. Love the flat carbon look, no weave is seen, just a beautiful matte finish. I didnât realize the L side does have a white Blackburn logo, which annoyed me because I didnât want any white on the bike, but they still look great. Function well, no issues.

12,000 Miles & Still Perfect!
- Familiarity:
- I've put it through the wringer
I have had these bottles on my bikes â road, cross, mountain, TT â for several years over 12,000 miles of riding on roads â paved & gravel â and trail. I cannot remember ever losing a bottle. They are perfect. They also hold up really well and match my bike nicely. I have been so happy with them!

Great bottle holders
Nice upgrade to carbon fibre bottle holders. Often overlooked they are used on every ride. They have a good hold on the bottles, so the bottles don't jump out on rough road and yet it's easy to get the bottle out without tugging on it .

Light, effective, marks up bottles
- Familiarity:
- I've put it through the wringer
They look great, they hold up, they don't eject bottles--even large bottles on rough roads. I have 4 of them which I've used for a couple years. But... the carbon on the interior will mar the finish of your bottles. I don't recall this being an issue at first, but over time the carbon must get a little scuffed up and this leads to black gunk on your bottles which is pretty hard to get off. It's not the end of the world, but I find it pretty annoying so I'm looking for a different product on my new bike.

This bottle cage is great. Maybe a little bit expensive but is highly durable being of carbon construction. Looks really good if you go with matching colors.

Work with Camelback bottles
- Familiarity:
- I've put it through the wringer
I love my camelback water bottles plus they seem to be the 'hand-up' bottle for many events, but getting them out of Arundel and King cages was a nightmare. However the Blackburn cages hold em tight and can still slide out. Highly recommend for road/gravel bikes.

cagey
- Familiarity:
- I've used it several times
I just picked this up for my MTB after deciding to ditch the ol' hydration pack. It's light, looks good and has great hold. I haven't had any issues with my water bottle flying out on rough sections of trail.

Does the job and does it well
- Familiarity:
- I've put it through the wringer
I dig these cages. Hold bottles well and weigh next to nothing. The cages are really tight which keeps bottle from flying out over bumps in the road. That being said, it is still easy to shove the bottle back in the cage after grabbing a quick sip. Overall a great upgrade for anyone looking to shave a few grams but still have a nice sturdy cage.

Solid Cage
I typically only use either Arundel or Blackburn Canber cages. The Arundels are a bit more expensive and seem to hold bottles a bit more secure, useful when mounting below the downtube on a MTB. The Blackburn has a bit better styling to them and offered in a number of colors making it easy to match any bike.

This cage does the job with a sleek, light, and simple design. I love the smooth matte carbon version that I bought. Holds the bottle in securely and is easy to get the bottle into and out of while riding

Extremely light weight and holds the water bottles great. Easy to get in and out of as well. The matte black with the wood grain looks really really cool as well!

I've had these on my bike for over a year and haven't had a single issue with them. All bottle sizes big and small, insulated and not have gone in and out with ease and staid put throughout all kinds of riding.

Super!
No more bootle ejections when shredding down a wash board dirt road or harsh single track. Super light, super grippy, super awesome.

Looks and Works Great
- Familiarity:
- I've put it through the wringer
The matte white cage is a perfect aesthetic match with my matte black and matte white carbon BMC granfondo GFO2 105. Oh, and it holds my Camelback Podium bottle just right; tightly enough so it doesn't jiggle, but I don't have to fight to get it out. $49.99 seems high until you shop it against other brands' carbon cages.
