Runs very, very small

As someone who sews her own clothes regularly, I know how to take measurements and I know what my measurements are. The size chart for this jersey has quite a large range within sizes compared to other brands. I'm in about the middle of the range for waist and chest measurements and at the very bottom of the range for weight in the size large, so that's what I ordered. It arrived today and and is so small I could barely zip it. Once zipped, I looked like a busted can of refrigerated biscuits. I have no idea how anyone larger than me could wear this, and yet according to the size chart, they should be able to. I'm definitely annoyed that now I'm out $7 to return something that was inaccurately represented on the website and it makes me leery of ordering any other clothing items from here. All brands have different sizing, that's why accurate size charts are important.

Pretty jersey, but definitely size up

Familiarity:
I've used it once or twice and have initial impressions

I am a size small in pretty much everything, and even when a lot of reviewers say they need to size up, I typically don't need to. I read in a few places that this brand really does run small and I found that to be true. Just putting it on without zipping, it felt like the arms and shoulders could be too big, but once I zipped it up, I definitely needed the medium. Even with the bigger size, it was a very racy cut. The brand website has a pretty good sizing tool, so if you are on the fence go check it out. I got the red hatch to wear with navy bibs and it looks really sharp.

IWhen I first pulled this jersey out of the packaging, I thought it was a kid's fit. I ordered a medium, although technically fit size S. The front of the jersey is 16". it barely reached my belly button. The material is stretchy but not super stretchy, so I suspected the jersey in the riding position would ride up. The coral/purple moire color is nice, moderately bold (in my opinion, of course).
