Sprint Disc Force eTap AXS Road Bike
Released in 1970, the Sprint’s first iteration set the stage as an all-around racing machine. 50 years of technological advances later, the Sprint’s new model is a do-it-all carbon race frame, ready to take on weekend racing and gran fondos alike. Whether it’s your first racing bike or only your first Bianchi, the Sprint provides a versatile and lightweight race bike for the all-around cyclist at a more inviting price point to Bianchi’s other frames. Paired with SRAM’s Force eTap AXS group, the Sprint is ready to mash for the win, either at the county line or the race finish.
The Sprint takes cues from the more aerodynamic Oltre and the more climbing-focused Specialissima for a frame that feels ready to tackle the hills and flats of your local racecourses. Race-ready geometry enhances the responsive front end of the bike, allowing you to launch and chase attacks to earn those mid-race primes or bragging rights. Bianchi’s monocoque carbon construction ensures a stiff and nimble frame, while keeping overall weight low. The carbon fork and frame work in tandem to reduce road noise and increase comfort over long training miles, as well as ensuring that every effort transfers from your legs to the frame to propel you over the next rise. This disc version features 12mm thru-axle spacing, for increased stiffness at the wheel. Bianchi specs the Force eTap build with 28mm Vittoria tires for plenty of traction over mixed surfaces and minimal rolling resistance.
Like any Bianchi, the frame aesthetics are just as impressive as the technology behind the paint. Subtle graphics with the trademark Bianchi color scheme ensure your bike stands out among the row of machines against the coffee shop patio. Aerodynamic tube shaping and internal cable routing help the wind move smoothly past you and the Sprint for reduced drag and cleaner lines.
Bianchi pairs this race machine with the perfectly balanced SRAM Force eTap AXS kit for optimal shifting across varied terrain. Electronic shifting across a 12speed cassette ensures precise actuation and minimal changes to cadence as you adjust for the upcoming climb. SRAM’s hydraulic brakes help control that speed on the descent, while the flat-mount calipers further the aerodynamics of the Sprint’s design. A Reparto Corse cockpit balances comfort with efficiency, to keep you ready to attack and earn that coveted first place spot on the podium.
