Great Idea, Good execution

Familiarity:
I've used it several times

Really good hoodie for riding. I love the pocket set up & wish more MTB shirts/jerseys/jackets had this. Gives the usefulness of a road/xc style jersey with good style. Pit zips are good touch. Like some have said the off center zipper is a little wonky but not a deal breaker. I got both black & the red/orange color. sizing is a little snug so may need to size up. I usually wear a medium or small so went with small & the tighter fit seems to help keep all the stuff in the pockets from bouncing around. Would be probably too warm for any weather >60 degrees F.

Too small

Familiarity:
I returned this product before using it

Great idea, but the fit is way off. I usually wear medium or large, and this hoody in large was way too small. I'd say do not bother ordering, unless you are really skinny.

Wanted to Love this Hoodie

Familiarity:
I returned this product before using it

I really wanted to love this hoodie. I tried it on several times trying to decide if I should keep it. The main issue I had is the zipper shoulder vents poke out and look kind of strange. My family kind of had to double and triple take...having the sense that something was off, before they were like there is something wrong with the shoulders. Great idea and great fit otherwise. I will be sending it back.

Very nice hoodie

Familiarity:
I've used it once or twice and have initial impressions

Fit is slim and very nice. I love the pit zips and I love the hood. I can were it all day. The neck is weird. It definitely needs improvement with the zipper. The execution is not the best but I still like this hoodie. It is thin but works. I've worn it with 2 thin layers underneath to MTB in 30-40 degree weather and it was nice. I am 6' 1" and 175lbs and the Large fit me perfect. The fit guide said Med but I trusted my instincts and was right

Perfect

Familiarity:
I've used it several times

I?ve ridden and skate skied several times with this as my outer layer along with a light base layer. Skate skied in temps in the low 20s and stayed warm. The design is spot on for what I want in a mid layer. The pit zips and small external pockets are nice touches to a well designed pullover. This is a medium weight item so this is my go to on long sleeve days and even cold days with a heavier base layer. I?m 5?9? and 135 lbs and the small fits perfect. Like previous review noted fits like a club jersey, appropriately loose but not too loose.

This fits like a jersey, not a hoodie

Familiarity:
I returned this product before using it

Great quality and very well thought out design. It is a hoodie, but don't expect for this to fit big and fluffy. This is a great piece of gear that fits more like a club jersey, snug but comfortable. The collar and shoulder vents are on point for those rides when you need a little more air coming in... I am surprised that other industry clothing companies have not come up wit this idea, which can be a building layer for cold days or perfect as a jersey that can be worn on temps between low 50's to low 70's. Good looking enough and practical even to use around town pre or post ride and even just to hang out. I bought the medium, but the sleeves and overall length were too long for me, so I ordered a small.

Collar Zip Misses the Mark

Familiarity:
I've used it several times

This hoodie is a slim fit. I like it quite a bit, it doesn't flap in the breeze but isn't skin tight. The sleeves could be slightly longer but I've got long arms so that's usually the case. Torso length is perfect. The material feels decent and is a good weight for spring/fall riding. It's not thermal but cuts the chill quite nicely and the hood is a nice addition for standing around at the trailhead. It takes a few rides before it starts smelling bad which isn't the worst but I think could be improved with better materials or treatments. The hand pocket and rear pockets are well configured so it's easy to stash snacks or gloves while on the move and the shoulder vents help a bit. I have 2 complaints. First, the rear zippered phone pocket doesn't block sweat, so put your phone in a baggie. The bigger issue is the collar configuration. I have no idea why the side collar would be necessary but it doesn't open up to vent. For me that neck ventilation is absolutely necessary as soon as I start working hard on a climb. There's a mesh panel behind the zip to hold the collar's shape, I'm considering cutting that out but I have the feeling that will just make the collar flop around annoyingly. If that was fixed I'd wear this on every ride.

Cool hoodie that JUST misses the mark

Familiarity:
I returned this product before using it

This is a nice hoodie that has some fun, technical features like the chest vents and the back pockets. For shorter rides where I don't wear my hydration backpack or for laps at the bike park, this would be a solid performer. The hoodie fits very tight across the chest (I'm not a huge guy) and it would be difficult to layer - sizing up would not be an option as it would be too big. Overall, cool hoodie but for the price decided to look elsewhere.
