Why We Built The 1X Jersey

We demand a lot from our clothing when taking to the trails, so we designed the 1X Jersey specifically to manage temperature regulation on lengthy singletrack and gravel rides during the warmer months. The mesh underarm panels help release body heat when you’re pushing pace on your post-work XC loop, and the moisture-wicking fabric helps prevent you from feeling clammy on late evening descents when the temp starts to drop.

As The Others Have Stated?Odd Fit

Familiarity:
I've used it once or twice and have initial impressions

I'm a shorter guy with wide shoulders, so a lot of things fit odd, but less so than this. Most jerseys I tend to wear a large pretty comfortably. I ordered an XL after reading reviews. I ordered this for gravel rides. It is indeed more roadie/race fit. Even when I'm more fit, at around 165-170ish, I'm more built more stocky. I'm the dude with the huge quads, and without workout out has a natural v-shaped upper body, not a guy who is going to be overly thin. Pros: Overall the material seems nice, breathable, and well constructed. I do like where the pockets are on the jersey as far as being easily reachable. They aren't up too high like some jerseys. Cons: Even the XL is a little narrow in the shoulders for me. The strip at the bottom, below the pockets is a little odd, and does make it feel overly long in a bunched up kind of way, that might not change if you were taller. If you're a naturally very thin tall guy, this might work better for you. Overall I like it and I'm keeping it. I think it'll be comfortable enough overall. As others have said, full price might return, but for sale price, it's a steal, even with the slightly odd fit.

Race Fit. Not Active Fit.

Familiarity:
I've used it several times

So these are a bit odd. I was looking through the reviews and said it seems to be too long. It does but it doesn't. On usual jerseys the rear three pockets run all the way to the bottom hem. On this one, it doesn't. there's a band around the bottom with the gripper which makes the jersey appear longer, so it's the band that makes it feel longer, Size wise, it feels more like a race fit jersey. it's definitely not a casual loose fit. Like old school wear lycra cross country race fit. the technical features are great

Awkward fit

Familiarity:
I returned this product before using it

I was looking forward to the features of this jersey for my gravel riding adventures.... but as a 5'8" 170lb rider that has shoulders, it fit horrible! I typically wear a race cut small or medium depending on brand, but a medium in this jersey was way too long and didn't have nearly enough room in the shoulders. Needless to say, I am returning the jersey. To sum it up, all-around awkward fit!

New Favorite Jersey

Familiarity:
I've used it several times

This is my new favorite jersey! So comfortable, and it's so nice to finally have something long enough that I don't have to be pulling down on it all the time. Take my review with a grain of salt, though, since I'm 6'4'' and 155 pounds. Definitely fits well on a tall and slim frame. Most jerseys are baggy in the chest and too short on me, so this was a nice find.

Runs very very small

Familiarity:
I returned this product before using it

I wear t-shirts M or Large, and I usually order jerseys L or XL since I don't like tight fit. I got XL of this one, and it fits like Medium towards Small, somewhat uncomfortably tight. Bummer since I really like the materials. The other disappointment is that BC charges for returns, so now I have to pay for their mistake for listing very poorly sized jersey. Based on other reviews I am not the only one to mention that.

Ordered a large in this and it is extremely tight. I am 6'3, 180 - have never ordered an XL anything - sad this has to go back. Quality and design look to be pretty good.
