Skyline Taca VT Saddle

Astute Italia is known for innovative designs that feature new technology and consistent Italian craftsmanship. The sky series showcases their first high-tech smart saddle as a result of their efforts to provide the highest level of safety, comfort and performance. Your most demanding rides will benefit from the comfort and performance from the Skyline Taca VT Saddle. This saddle is engineered to cope with the stresses and elements of XC and gravel riding because we all know how rough it can be to go without a comfortable saddle on a loose gravel road. Reinforced areas along the cover of the Skyline Taca cover areas where maximum stress and wear develop over time. An anti-vibration, self-supporting twin shell reinforces construction and reduces vibrations on your ride.

  • Comfortable saddle that reduces vibrations on demanding rides
  • Reinforced nylon carbon with titanium 7 x 7mm rails
  • Micro fiber mesh inserts make for easy gripping
  • Flat shaped design for a streamlined profile and endurance rides

Sometimes I love it, others…..

This is the stiffest saddle I’ve ever used, so take in to account that I’m used to things like Brooks and WTB medium cushion saddles. If your posture or saddle position is a little off, this saddle will suck. But once you get it dialed in it can be quite nice. Really good if using with padded shorts, but a little too stiff if not. I don’t love it for my commute, but longer weekend rides I find it surprisingly comfortable for how stiff it is. It does seem to damper vibrations better than brooks. I like it. Don’t regret buying it but not sure if I’ll get another. Hope that helps.
