Better than my merino

I have long-sleeve merino bases that are a nice quality and are fine. I needed a new base, saw this one on sale. I really like this base. I wear it in the forties in Texas with an Assos Spring/fall jersey, or if windy or upper 30's, under a Castelli Alpha Ross Jersey (interior zippered torso panel). Very light, warm but breathable; wicks well. A hint of scratchiness when I put it on, but do not notice that once it is on/riding. Lighter than the merino, at least as warm, wicks sweat better, particularly at elbow joints, glove joinder, neck and pits. Looks good as well if unzip my jersey. Would give 5 stars if it was softer when i first put it on. I will get another one, I just wait for the sales. 5/10, 173, Size II.
