SkinFoil EarlyWinter EVO7 Long-Sleeve Baselayer

They say you can tell a lot about a man by looking at his shoes, but you can tell even more about him by checking out the baselayers he chooses. If he's sporting the Assos SkinFoil EarlyWinter EVO7 Long-Sleeve Baselayer, you'll know that he's a man who chooses performance over pronounceability, downs five raw eggs before every ride, and isn't willing to make sacrifices when it comes to his riding gear.

Assos designs its skinFoil baselayers to exacting standards: the form-fitting blend of nylon and elastane supports your muscles and quickly wicks moisture away from your skin, and the seamless construction eliminates pressure points and seams that can cause discomfort. Made to be worn in chilly, but not frigid, temperatures, the LS.skinFoil_earlyWinter has a moderate thickness that insulates without overheating, and a smooth face that slides easily under a jacket or a jersey for comfortable, low-bulk layering.

  • Assos' full-length baselayer for cozy warmth
  • Reduced volume fits nicely under jerseys and jackets
  • Tubular knitting technology wicks moisture while insulating
  • Breathable materials keep you from overheating
  • regularFit doesn't hinder range of motion while in the saddle
  • Works in conjunction with other Assos garments for the ultimate in cold-weather riding attire

Assos base layer early winter

  • Familiarity: I've used it once or twice and have initial impressions
  • Fit: Runs small
  • Size Bought: XLG

Great product, purchased at my local bike shop for 20% more than from CC but I needed it right away.
Awesome base layer, this was my 1st Assos product and am now wondering why I waited this long!!! This item makes your winter riding so much more enjoyable. Runs small but by design, fits skin tight, great compression, awesome breathability, keeps you warm.
Rode today in NJ 25 degree Fahrenheit weather with howling winds.
This base layer under a new Assos Mille GT Ultraz winter jacket and I was toasty warm on a 21 mile Thanksgiving day ride.

best base layer I have ever worn

  • Familiarity: I've used it several times
  • Fit: Runs small
  • Size Bought: II

This garment has a good smell. Before and after use! Wicks perspiration away from body and helps to regulate temperature.

I can understand wanting to be warm top and bottom. But, I don't understand how you would combine this with anything with a chamois (e.g. shorts or bib tights). Obviously, you wouldn't wear shorts over this because it would defeat the purpose of having a chamois. But I presume it would be ill-fitting to put this on over shorts or tights. Can someone enlighten me?

the item listed here is just the top. i guess they thought it impolite to have a half naked model?

I'm not sure what I was confused about, I must have thought this was an ad for tights w/o chamois.
