RALLY Cargo Short - Women's

Designed to wear over its T.RALLYSHORTS_S7 LADY, H RALLYINNERSHORTS S7 WOMAN, or XC bib shorts woman comes the H LaalalaiCargoShorts S7 from Assos. Engineered with an optimized fit, these shorts feature classic Assos styling and are dialed to keep you comfortable on singletrack trails. Just like its road clothing that "click-on" once you're in the saddle, these shorts provide the same sensation but are situated for mountain biking and singletrack. Perhaps our highest compliment that we can pay these shorts is that it fits like a semi-baggy rather than a full-on baggy so no extra material is present to chafe legs, catch saddles, or snag trail debris. It’s a baggy for sure, and if you're looking for just a bit more protection and coverage without looking like an extreme freerider, this is where it's at.

The front panel is designed based on the paneling in Assos' S7 road shorts. Though it's not as form-fitting, it does closely follow your body in order to reduce catching the saddle's nose or place a bunch of unnecessary material between you, the saddle, and—ultimately—the trail. The material is the same as what's used in the snug fitting T.rallyShort, too, so it stretches to reduce restriction while pedaling up a climb or throwing the bike around in chunky terrain.

The shorts are equipped with mesh in order to manage internal moisture, but that additional material doesn't add bulk, so they still pair perfectly with the H RALLYINNERSHORTS S7 WOMAN. Excluding that mesh and the front panel, the shorts are made entirely from Type.498 fabric, a material that repels water, dries quickly, and is built for longevity in the face of daily trail abuse. The fit can be dialed-in through the inclusion of waist and leg zippers, and Assos itself describes that fit as "casual." We suggest that's a bit of a miss-categorization, though, as the S7 DNA evident throughout the fit and design means that they're anything but casual.
