Why We Like The Assosoires Winter Bootie
The Assosories Winter Bootie is what we use when we’re not going to let a cold, chill winter morning ruin our Sunday. Built with a highly durable and warm ‘second skin’ aerodynamic fabric, these booties are for fast days when we're pushing hard winter intervals. The thermal booties cut through the wind and wet, keeping our toes warm without paying any aerodynamic penalty.
- Thermal and weather-resistant booties for winter weather
- Raw-cut edges eliminate seams to retain warmth and increase comfort
- Cordura adds abrasion-resistance at the toe
- Sens 2L offers a secure fit with second-skin feel
- Compatible with two and three hole cleats
- Zipper-free closure for better aerodynamics and no irritation

I have Fugus and other thicker zipper models, so was skeptical about these, but I’ve been nicely surprised. Very comfortable and warm and way less bulky. Yes, you really have to learn how to put them on.

I have gone through many winter overshoes through the years. They just get beat up. I decided to invest in these booties and I can confidently say these are the best overshoes I have worn. I have been out in 26F (-3C) weather and my toes stayed warm. That's all I can ask for. Here is a tip. Do not try to put these on for the first time if you are running a little late for your group ride. There is a learning curve with these booties. Practice first. Put the boot on first with your foot coming through the cleat (front) hole. Kind of bunch it around your ankle. Put the shoe on then work the heel of the shoe through the cleat hole and settle it into place then pop the toe over. After one or two times, you'll be able to pop these booties on and off. Pros: Warm toasty toes Cons: 1) Learning curve. 2) I would like to see a reflective strip on the bootie for some added safety.

Update: Used many times as low as 19 degrees F. Still look new and toes still warm.

I would really like to try these but wear a size 47 Sidi. The size guide maxes out at 46. Are they delicate? Any chance they could stretch one more size? Thanks

Jim, you weren't kidding about the learning curve. I just purchased these and must admit, I love the way they look, much cleaner without the zipper but the zipper does make it SO much easier to put on and take off. I haven't used these yet, not sure if you have, can you comment on the durability of these? Thanks.
