Paragon Plus Elbow Protector
Pushing yourself on the trail will no doubt result in progression, but if you're anything like us, it also results in a few tumbles along the way. That's why we recommend suiting up with a little extra armor when you're pushing your limits, like the Alpinestars Paragon Plus Elbow Protector. This lightweight and flexible guard combines breathable stretch mesh for a comfortable, close fit, with burly rip-stop fabric to hold up to abrasions. In between layers of fabric you'll find CE certified perforated protectors that let sweat escape, while absorbing impact, so you can charge with confidence, whether you're working on lacing your way through tight tree lines, or hitting lofty gap jumps.

I bought these and the matching knee pads for riding at Trestle this fall. The knee pads worked great, but the elbow pads kept slipping down to my forearms by the end of the day and getting in the way more than protecting. They did protect me in a fall at the beginning of the day, but by the end, again, they were covering my wrists more than my elbows. I could be missing some trick to keeping them up, but I exchanged them for some Troy Lee's that seem to fit much better although I haven't had a chance to try them out yet.
