The Alpinestars Bionic Neck Support Tech 2 is constructed from an advanced, high-performance carbon polymer compound and is designed to dissipate impact forces away from the neck and spine should you take a crash on your mountain bike. The BNS Tech 2 functions when the rider’s helmet makes contact with the brace at the moment of a crash, thus providing a clean, solid surface that channels compressive impact energy away from the neck and on to the brace. The brace features Alpinestars' exclusive rear stabilizer for progressive force relief (PFR), which dissipates energy loads by transmitting them across the back and shoulders and away from the spine.
