When ultimate security is demanded, Abus' Buffo U-Lock 34's 12-mm thick, hardened steel shackle and lock body will help prevent targeting of your bicycle. The 9-inch long loop easily fits around racks, and a soft coating prevents marring of frame finishes.

Abus provides a frame mounting bracket that's easy to use and fits most traditional frame designs. The double-locking mechanism securely latches both ends and uses a reversible key for quick insertion. The Abus Buffo U-Lock 34 is available in the color Black.

Kind of loud...

I've put it through the wringer

I like the fact that this lock has a frame mount, but like the other reviewer said, it has also been my experience that it rattles on rough surfaces. I haven't had any issues with anything falling out of place with mine though. It works perfectly otherwise. And my bike hasn't been stolen. So that's pretty rad.

Loud and a little sketch

I've put it through the wringer

I have used this U lock alot on my Nishiki Olympic 12 and it has worked good. The included frame mount allows you to stow your lock on the bike itself, although it does rattle around audibly when you are on rougher surfaces. The lock is easy to use and includes two keys so you arent up a creek if you lose one. This lock did end up getting stuck while I was out with buddies after I unlocked it to secure our bikes together at Big Daddies pizza, the cylinder inside wont completely clasp over one end of the U, I attribute this to the fact that the frame mount made it rattle all the time, which was evident in the plastic slider part that was discolored from bending.
