I did some research and gambled on buying one as a replacement for my Shimano XT M8120 drivetrain. I'm so glad I did and my knees/legs thank me. It isn't noticeable pedaling around on flat ground. It's when you're climbing, either steep grades or slow, technical hills where you move a few feet a pedal stroke, where you appreciate having it. I don't feel nearly as wiped out after a ride and for only $10 more than a Shimano replacement, it is worth every dollar more. I've already convinced a few buddies to buy and they all agree, a worthwhile upgrade for sure.
