Description

Oro Jacket

Ultralight without sacrificing protection, the Oro Jacket is one of the most advanced jackets in 7mesh Industries' line. 7mesh used Gore-Tex Active technology to provide completely waterproof protection while maintaining a high level of airflow to prevent vapor from building up inside the jacket. Shakedry technology allows you to simply pop water off your jacket when things clear up. The Oro weighs in at just three ounces, meaning it's light enough to take on every ride and small enough to fit in your pocket during sunny weather. A laminated, raw edge reduces weight at the hem while the ultralight slider ensures minimal weight for the zipper. The drop-tail hem and elasticated cuffs ensure coverage throughout your ride, while rear vents provide additional breathability and double as access points so you're never cut off from your jersey pockets.

I have a saying. It goes like this: "There is goretex for waterproof, and then there is everything else which is not exactly waterproof. " I have another goretex cycling jacket made out of goretex paclite, but wanted one that is lighter and more compact. This is it. WIsh it were in another color but it wasn't, so black it is. 7 mesh products run small. I am usually a medium in 7 mesh tops. The medium fit me well. It is streamline in the torso but long enough. It is particularly long in the back, but that is good because the more your derriere is covered, the less wet it will get particularly from the rear tire splash kick-up. ALso when mountain biking I always wear a camelback pack, and the shoulder straps and waist strap make jackets ride up on you. I like my jacket even more because it was on sale.
