Sam Hill Lite Knee Pads

The Sam Hill Lite Knee Pads are an ultra-light knee pad for trail riding and enduro racing, offering breathable comfort and lightweight protection that won't hold you back during big days in challenging terrain. Thanks to critical feedback from the reigning Enduro World Series champ, the knee pads feature a compression sleeve that sits higher up on the thigh than other designs, working with the internal silicone strip to ensure they won't slide down when you're halfway through a 10-minute stage full of chunky rock gardens and chattery brake bumps. The sleeve material is a breathable rip-stop spandex that provides substantial airflow and a comfortable fit, and prevents them from getting shredded in a crash.

Stellar Pad for the Everyday Trail Ride

Super Stoked about these pads - if you are riding everyday trails and want a solid layer of base protection, these are the pads for you. The comfort is phenomenal to the point that I forgot I was even wearing these while riding, and even 2 hours after being off my bike hanging around in my house with my riding pants on. I consider this to be a good thing - I like a pad that is comfortable enough that I forget it's even on my leg. They have since added the silicone bands so these stay up no problem for me and I do not have to adjust them. Breathability is top notch as well. I definitely recommend a burlier pad for chunkier and more technical riding, but I highly recommend the Lite's to anyone looking for some everyday riding protection.

Nope!

Familiarity:
I've put it through the wringer

Initially the fit felt awesome and extremely breathable. Other than that there?s nothing I?ve got to say good about them. I?ve used them heavily since last spring. On the first ride I ripped a 2? hole on the calf just from stepping off the pedal. Several more tears occurred from limbs and small briars. The thin padding and doesn?t offer any inside or outside protection of the knee. Also, the padding ended up splitting in half ending any protection for the knee cap and landing the cheap pads in the garbage. Total waste of money; strapping cardboard to your knees offer the same amount of protection.

Enough protection

Enough protection and comfortable. Only thing it should have is some sort of silicone on the interior near thigh to help stay up.

Great everyday knee pads

Familiarity:
I've used it several times

These knee pads are perfect for a little added confidence on hucks and steep rollers in your local trails. While they are not robust enough for the most rigorous trails, these are the perfect fit for bashy cross country riders and average enduro riding. I've worn them for many hours in 90-100F degree Northeast humidity and they don't budge even after an entire day of riding. They are snug in all the ways you want them to be, without being painful or in the way. Highly recommend for the hill climbers!
